CM Punk talks about winning lawsuit, Preparing for UFC 225 and Addresses if he is “All In”

Ariel Helwani of MMAFighting.com is featuring an interview with former WWE star and now UFC fighter Phil “CM Punk” Brooks ahead of Punk’s return this Saturday at UFC 225.

Punk addresses a number of topics during the interview including balancing his weight cut and training with being in court the last two weeks in the lawsuit brought forth by WWE physician Dr. Chris Amann. He talked about the emotions he felt for not only himself, but for his friend Scott “Colt Cabana” Colton after they won the lawsuit.

Also discussed during the interview was his return to the octagon this Saturday at UFC 225 in Chicago and why it took him nearly two years to make a return to the sport. Punk wouldn’t commit to saying he would continue fighting after Saturday and revealed he told Dana White he wanted to have this second fight, either in the UFC or Bellator.

Helwani also asked Punk if he’s had any talks about appearing at the All In event in Chicago this September being organized by Cody Rhodes and The Young Bucks. Punk, who smiled when asked, said he hasn’t been given any actual serious offers to return to wrestling and said he is only focused on his return to the UFC this Saturday.
