Many talents involved with MTV's "Wrestling Society X" project have recently signed 30 day extensions of their current contractual agreements. According to reports, the original signed deals were set to expire on June 7, but at the request of MTV, Big Vision Entertainment (the producers of the pilot) began signing extensions this week.

Talent currently signed to extensions includes the following: Teddy Hart, Vampiro, Sean Waltman, Aaron Aguilera (former WWE star Jesus), Jack Evans, Kaos, Luke, Alkatrazz and announcer Kris Kloss. As reported yesterday, Justin Credible, New Jack and Puma have all been released from the project as of June 8 and are free to explore other options.

Based on what is known, MTV remains very high on the "Wrestling Society X" project and asked for the extension so they could concentrate on it once they move beyond the upfront presentations of the show for other MTV Network chanenls such as VH1, Comedy Central and others. This new contract extension keeps all talent locked in until July 7, giving MTV more time to determine the next direction for the project.
