More on Adamle & Tazz walk out on ECW, WWE's idea to pick up ratings
» Reported by Adam Martin of WrestleView.com

According to a report by The Wrestling Observer, it appears WWE trying to pick up ratings by doing things that help to "garner talk" after the TV shows air. One of the first examples of this was last night's ECW on Sci Fi that saw Mike Adamle and Tazz walk off during the main event. You could also throw in the angle of William Regal pulling Raw off the air Monday night as well.

As reported earlier, many wrestlers backstage thought Adamle and Tazz walking out was a shoot and that Adamle had been fired on the spot by Vince McMahon. Apparently the goal was to work people backstage, something WCW was known for doing in the past. The general feeling is that only Vince and a few others were aware of the plan and just didn't let people in on it.
