In Part 2 of the Matt Hardy interview, Matt talks about Adam Cole and says he came to ROH to see Cole because he heard about his "star-making" performance with Kyle O'Reilly, where Cole's got bloodied up. Hardy says that nothing compared to when he tore his abdominal wall and still finished the match, but his match wasn't "star-making". Hardy says he sees some comparisons between he & Cole and maybe one day, Cole will catch up to Hardy's accomplishments because until then, he will ALWAYS be in the shadow of Matt Hardy.
These comments incensed Cole, who asked and was granted a match with Matt Hardy at Final Battle.
We go to comments from Cole, who says there are ironies in what people told both he & Matt Hardy, but at Final Battle, he will prove he is NOT a 2nd rate Matt Hardy.
We wiil get news on the meaning of the El Generico mask presented to Kevin Steen next week on ROH TV, plus Michael Elgin wants Roderick Strong at Final Battle and Jim Cornette says that there will be a new matchmaker, but that person doesn't know he is doing it yet. Commercial
