Note on Brian Kendrick’s “injury” at the TNA PPV

In regards to Sunday’s TNA Turning Point PPV where Brian Kendrick appeared to have suffered some kind of a knee injury and was removed from the Fortune vs. EV2 match as a result, PWInsider is reporting that Kendrick was not injured during the match and TNA did the angle to get him removed from the match to explain his absence.

It turns out Kendrick hurt his knee a few weeks back and this was written into the match to explain why he was taken out. We noted during our report of the PPV that both Mike Tenay and Taz may have revealed the angle more than they should have as Taz mentioned seeing Kendrick being carried to the back only to see him put pressure on his knee and walk just fine out of the sight of the cameras.
