Bob Ryder to undergo stem cell transplant next week

According to The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, TNA employee Bob Ryder, who has been with the company since their inception, is set to undergo a “stem cell transplant” next week.

Ryder has been hospitalized recently and has been going through treatments for Multiple Myeloma, a type of blood & bone cancer.

At the TNA Hall of Fame last week in Phoenix, where Ryder resides, Jeremy Borash made mention of Ryder, who was unable to attend.

Ryder has already gone through a stem cell collection process, where he is hooked up to a machine for 5 hours a day over the course of 3 days where his blood is cycled through the machine. On a good note, Ryder’s cancer levels are said to be dropped to almost zero.

Ryder is expected to be hospitalized for the next few weeks and then has to stay in isolation for another month.

We here at Wrestleview wish Ryder a speedy recovery.
