Impact opens up with clips of Jeff Jarrett on a radio show and Kurt Angle at one of TNA's live events talking about their beef, and then clips of Fortune's revelation. Anderson also says he wants to face Jeff Hardy in a Ladder Match. Robert Roode says tonight they're getting some things off their chest.
As we cut to the arena Immortal makes their way out to the ring. Gunner & Murphy are no longer wearing TNA Security shirts. Eric Bischoff grabs a microphone and says last week was interesting, but he's going to make one thing very clear right off the bat. He says if anyone thinks Immortal will miss a beat or take a step back you have another thing coming because that isn't going to happen. Bischoff says he's the reason that Immortal won't be taking a step back and for the last 15 years he has been doing nothing but building stars and building companies. He then says "you're welcome" to the fans and then says another thing that won't change is that he is the only man with the brains and track record of success that he has (Vince McMahon may have something to say about that, Eric). Bischoff says he doesn't give a damn about Fortune and neither does anyone else in Immortal. He says that the only reason Fortune was even in Immortal was because it was a favor to Ric Flair. Bischoff then mentions that Flair owes him a "freaking phone call" pretty quick implying that he hasn't seen Flair either in the past 2 weeks. He then runs down the members of Immortal calling AJ Styles nothing more than an "inbred, hillbilly, vanilla midget." He says James Storm is one beer away from liver failure and Robert Roode is another example of a Canadian with no charisma, and will never be a star. He says Kazarian is the "Clay Aiken of Professional Wrestling" (ouch). Bischoff then hands the microphone over to Jeff Jarrett.
Jarrett shakes Bischoff's hand and he calls Fortune out before he'll say anything else. Fortune immediately comes out onto the stage. Fortune hold up the Fortune symbol on the stage in unison and then Jarrett calls them "boys" and suggests all 4 of them "grow a set" and come to talk to Immortal face-to-face. Fortune says fine and makes their way to the ring with AJ taking his coat off on the way. A big "A-J-STYLES" chant starts. Jarrett says he wants to apologize to Bischoff for what happened last week. He then turns to Fortune and says that 9 years ago he gave each one of those "ungrateful sons of bitches" an opportunity. He says that he found them flipping burgers and landscaping. He says all of them begged him for a job and this is how they repay him. Jarrett says he doesn't even want to talk about the disrespect that they've shown to Hulk Hogan and all 4 of them were nothing and they're still nothing. Jarrett says if AJ doesn't like what he's saying, then what is he going to do about it. He then says that Kazarian has "a million dollar look with 10 cent talent." Jarrett calls James Storm his "homeboy" and mentions that James used to train in Jerry Jarrett's backyard and then he says that James partner back then (Chris Harris for you old school TNA fans) is just as worthless as the partner he has now.
Roode snatches the microphone away from Jarrett in midsentence and tells him to shutup and cut the horseshit. Roode says if Jarrett wants to take a stroll down memory lane then they can take a walk. Roode says Jarrett is damn right that he gave them their opportunity but they took that opportunity and built Jarrett's company from the ground up! Roode screams at Jarrett to look at him while he's talking. Roode says they are the heart and soul of TNA Wrestling and even Jarrett knows that's the truth, but week after week they would see the "new face of TNA" and calls them the overpriced, washed up has-beens that came and left. The whole time the true talent that built the company were overlooked. Roode says they all had opportunities to leave and make more money, but they stayed to help build TNA and for the love they had for wrestling. Roode tells Jarrett to have a look at Fortune because they have risen to the top and they will continue to rise and there is nothing Jarrett or anyone in Immortal can do about it. He says if Jarrett doesn't like him or Fortune then HE should grow a set and do something about it and even calls him "Slap nuts." Jarrett punches Roode and the brawl is on! Fortune and Immortal go at it all around the ring as Bischoff bails. Fortune is outnumbered until Kurt Angle, Crimson, & Scott Steiner run out to make the save! The faces clear the ring and stand tall in the ring!
Tonight is the official Kurt Angle-Jeff Jarrett Contract Signing plus Jarrett & Hardy face off against AJ & Robert Roode. Plus, Mr. Anderson faces Matt Morgan in a World Title Match! Also, they make it official that at AAO Mr. Anderson (or Morgan if he wins) will defend the World Title against Jeff Hardy in a Ladder Match.
In the back Velvet Sky & Winter are screaming and pushing each other until Angelina Love runs in and breaks them up. She says she's had enough of the drama and she does a formal introduction of them since they never formally met. She says if they don't get on the same page tonight then they will killed.
In the back Eric Bischoff is in his office with HERNANDEZ! Bischoff says they see him as a 100% bad ass and Dixie Carter never gave him an opportunity. Bischoff says Hernandez went down to Mexico and became a huge star on his own and he and Hogan want to take advantage of that. Bischoff says they want to see Hernandez make the big money and all he has to do for them is hurt a few people along the way. Bischoff asks if they have a deal and Hernandez agrees. He reaches up to give Bischoff a fist bump but Bischoff flinches because he thinks Hernandez is going to hit him. Bischoff tells him to get it done tonight and Hernandez smiles and nods his head. SUPER MEX IS BACK! 6-Man Tag Team Tables Match
Bully Ray, Matt Hardy, & "The Pope" D'Angelo Dinero vs. Brother Devon, "Whole F'N Show" Rob Van Dam, & "Samoan Submission Machine" Samoa Joe
Bully Ray stops at ringside where Devon's sons are sitting and he talks trash to them again. The face team runs out and hits the ring. Devon and Joe chase Ray & Pope out of the ring while RVD and Matt Hardy go at it in the ring. Joe chases Pope all the way to the back. Devon chokes Ray with a cable on the outside while RVD whips Matt Hardy into the corner. RVD hits a Running Spinning Heel Kick on Hardy in the corner followed by a Spinning Heel Kick to the back. RVD follows up with Rolling Thunder! Devon tosses Ray into the ring steps and in the ring RVD hits a series of Shoulder Blocks on Matt, but Matt catches him with a knee on the third one. Matt climbs up top but RVD cuts him off and kicks him in the head. Hardy falls out to the floor and grabs a steel chair, but RVD hits a Sliding Dropkick onto him on the outside. RVD then goes for a Slingshot Plancha but Hardy caught RVD with the chair in midair! Devon rolls Ray into the ring and whips him into a corner. Devon charges at him but Ray hits a back elbow followed by a blatant low blow. No rules here so that doesn't matter. Ray screams at Devon that he'll get his own stinking table. Ray pulls out a table and sets it up at ringside and then starts talking trash to Devon's kids. He calls them "bastard kids" but they jump the guardrail and attack Ray! They grab ahold of Bubba not allowing him to get into the ring, and then Devon comes off the ropes and knocks Ray off the apron through the table! Winners: Devon, Joe, & RVD via putting Ray through a table
Devon raises his kids arms in the ring.
In the back Jeff Jarrett and Karen talk about the contract signing and Jarrett mentions a "special clause" he had put in the contract.
Back from commercials Jeff & Karen Jarrett are in the ring with a ton of security. She asks if we enjoyed watching the Behind the Scenes stuff with them last week. She gets a ton of boos. Karen says they do it all for the fans and she says she can't imagine what we all have to endure every week with our terrible marriages and dysfunctional families. Kurt Angle's heard enough. His music hits and Angle makes his way out to the ring.
All the security guards stand in a line between Kurt and Jeff. Karen asks Kurt why he has all this hostility and they then to be one happy family for their kids. She mockingly says that Kurt needs to be on his happy face and Kurt tells them to just give him the papers so he can sign them. Jeff says last time they were supposed to just have an exhibition but Kurt made Jeff destroy him. Jeff says he has nothing else to prove and there is no one that thinks Kurt has a chance against him at AAO so he's going to up the ante. Jeff says if Kurt beats him then Kurt gets sole custody of Kurt & Karen's kids, but if Jeff wins then Kurt has to walk Karen down to the ring on March 3rd when Karen & Jeff renew their vows. Jarrett signs the contract and then hands it to Kurt and he signs it. Karen doesn't like any of this.
----------------------------COMMERCIAL BREAK----------------------------------8-Knockouts Tag Team Match
Sarita, Rosita, Tara, & Madison Rayne vs. The Beautiful People, Winter, & Mickie James
Rosita is the storyline cousin of Sarita, she's indy wrestler Divina Fly. After Velvet did her regular entrance of crawling between Angelina's legs, Winter then crawled between Angelina's legs and almost tripped her. Then as they started to get in the ring Winter got in Velvet's way stopping her from LETTING THE PIGEONS LOOSE! But she did it anyway! Best entrance in wrestling! Mickie's hand is bandaged after Sarita beat the hell out of it last week. Angelina and Sarita start the match off. They lockup and Angelina quickly rolls Sarita up for a quick two count. Angelina follows up with a series of forearms and then she tries to whip Sarita into the corner, but Sarita reverses it and then charges at Angelina. Angelina lifts herself up and locks Sarita in a Hanging Headscissors and uses one of her legs to kick Sarita in the head repeatedly before Sarita tosses her over the top rope. Winter kept Angelina and Mickie from making the save. Winners: Rosita, Sarita, Tara, & Madison Rayne via pinfall (Moonsault)
In the ring Mickie James asks Madison where she thinks she's going and she says she's tired of Madison attacking her from behind so if she wants to settle this thing come do it now. Madison starts walking towards the ring!
Madison gets in the ring and asks Mickie what she's going to do now. Madison says Mickie came to TNA for one reason and that reason is to prove that she was the top female wrestler in the world. She gives Mickie some credit and says she's had a few impressive victories but none against her. She says Mickie can talk the talk but when it comes to walking the walk Mickie is a cripple. Madison says there comes a time in every athletes career to make the decision to hang up their boots and move on. Madison says she can imagine that's probably a pretty tough pill to swallow. Madison says her options are to stay and have Madison continue to embarrass Mickie or she can leave while she still can. Madison tells Mickie that she'll see her at Against All Odds and leaves.
In the back Jeff Hardy talks about the Title Match tonight and says the winner faces him at AAO in his "comfort zone", a Ladder Match. Hardy says it doesn't matter who wins tonight, what matters is Sunday when he climbs the ladder and takes back what's his.

He says he doesn't give a damn about Hardy but he wants them to tear Jarrett apart for him. Roode suggests he volunteer to take himself out of the match so Kurt can team with AJ. AJ gets fired up and tells Kurt to get ready. TNA World Heavyweight Championship
Mr. Anderson (c) vs. "The Blueprint" Matt Morgan
Before Morgan and Anderson can start Jeff Hardy's music hits and he walks out with a ladder. It's spray painted with that same dumb paint that Jeff puts on himself. Jeff sets the ladder up at ringside and climbs up it and sits on the top of it. I guess he's going to watch this match from the top of the ladder. Anderson and Morgan lockup in the ring and Morgan tosses Anderson aside easily. They lockup again and this time Anderson ducks underneath Morgan and locks in a Waistlock. He transitions into a Side Headlock and then Morgan tries to push Anderson off but Anderson holds onto the Headlock. Morgan punches Anderson in the gut repeatedly and then shoves him into the ropes. Anderson attempts to whip Morgan into the ropes but Morgan reverses it and then goes for the Carbon Footprint again, but Anderson ducks and Morgan gets crotched on the top rope! Ray says they've got into his business now and he tells Devon to bring his kids to AAO to help him against Ray in the Street Fight. He says he'll turn Devon's kids into men. TNA X-Division Title #1 Contenders Qualifying Match
Brian Kendrick vs. Suicide vs. Robbie E. w/ Cookie
Robbie grabs a microphone and says there is a reason Robbie isn't fist pumping tonight and it's because they got robbed of the X-Division Title, their bling. He says tonight starts the journey of Robbie E. becoming a 2-time X-Division Champ. This is our first time seeing the Suicide character on Impact in many, many months and how ironic is it that he flies down to the ring like a "Fallen Angel" (that's all I'm saying). Robbie attacks Suicide from behind as he makes his entrance. Kendrick is still sitting on the mat rocking back and forth. Suicide reverses a whip and then goes for a backdrop, but Robbie stops and tries to kick Suicide. Suicide avoids it and punches Robbie repeatedly. Suicide then hits several clotheslines in the corner and then whips Robbie into the opposite corner. Suicide charges at Robbie but Robbie backdrops him over the top to the floor. Moore says they represent the 1% of society that goes out and gets tattoos or dies their hair crazy colors or whatever to express themselves. Neal says they do the same thing in the ring and they showed Gunner & Murphy who they are last week. They say anybody else can step up to them and they'll show them. A 6-Man Tag has just been added to AAO it will be Steiner & Beer Money against Rob Terry, Gunner, & Murphy. Oh god I don't care how great Beer Money and Steiner are, there is no way they're pulling a good match out of those three.
In the back Devon is with his kids and he says he's glad Bubba is pissed off. He says Bubba got them involved in this by putting his hands on them. Devon says at AAO it will be the three of them against Bubba and he says they'll come to do the work. Devon says Ray better get ready because they're going to give him the ass whooping of his life.

Mr. Anderson runs out and starts cleaning house in the ring! He hits the Mic Check on Rob Terry! Mr. Anderson is left standing in the ring.
The opening segment with Fortune and Immortal was excellent. AJ hit the ball out of the park last week and tonight Robert Roode did the exact same. He's always been a pretty good talker but tonight was just excellent. He was fired up and passionate. Give these guys the ball and let them run with it.
The 6-Man Tag was just too much going on in a short time span. One of the biggest problems with Impact has always been too much going on at the same time, this one of those times. Wrestling promotions have been sticking 3 different feuds into a 6-Man Tag (or 8-Man Tag) since back in the day but this really didn't work out. Joe chased Pope to the back right off the bat and Hardy/RVD was there for just a few minutes. The focus was obviously Devon/Bully Ray but it doesn't really make sense to have the babyface get the better of the heel going into a big Street Fight on PPV in my opinion. Heel has no heat. Adding Devon's sons to the match adds absolutely nothing to it unless they turn on their dad and I think I would probably throw my remote at the TV if that happens.
Kurt-Jarrett was fine the way it was, just a one-on-one match and that stipulation does not help at all. I said it last week, just leave the kids out of it. I also said last week this feud reminded me of the Rey-Eddie feud and now even more so. I hate it.
The Knockouts Tag was decent while it lasted but I'm really tired of all these short ass matches. Madison, Tara, Mickie, & Winter didn't even get into the match. Rosita looked good while she was in there at least and her and Sarita worked well together. The Knockouts need some more teams so this is a good pairing. The segment afterward with Mickie & Madison wasn't very good, and probably the weakest between the two.
Anderson-Morgan was actually pretty decent while it lasted. They work well together for the most part. I thought having Hardy sit on top of the ladder during the match was a nice touch.
It's great to see Hernandez back. For those that don't know Hernandez has been wrestling in Mexico for AAA for the past year or so. I loved that they had him go right after Matt Morgan and Mike Tenay even touched on their past. As a heel Hernandez is going to be able to show that mean streak again and maybe even show off a little that he learned from L.A. Park in Mexico. I'm really interested in seeing where they go with him.
The X-Division 3-Way was short and probably the weakest of the 3 qualifying matches. I'm glad Suicide is back on TV and I'm really glad Taz kept talking about wanting to know who's under the mask. That character needs to come to an end by being unmasked so to give it a good ending rather than just ignoring that the character ever existed. Having him unmask and reveal who is under it would be perfect and since that person is going to be wrestling under the mask until he finishes up his contract with another promotion it would be perfect. I know some people don't like to be spoiled so I'm not going to say who that person it is, but it is NOT Kiyoshi anymore and it's definitely not Kazarian.
The Main Event was very solid as all 4 guys worked hard and Jarrett is playing the chickenshit heel so well. I loved that he kept bailing out everytime Angle would come in except when Angle was beaten down. AJ looked strong in his return from injury as well. Jarrett lost a little heat by losing to AJ but got it right back by jumping AJ & Angle. I like that they ended the show the same way they started.
Most of the storylines and feuds I like going on (except for bringing the kids into Jarrett-Angle) but in terms of the in-ring stuff on Impact they really need to kind of chill out and slow things down. I know they feel they have to cram everything into the show every week but they're either a) going to have to get a 2nd show on TV or b) just not have EVERYONE on the show every week.
