Impact opens up with highlights from last week focusing on the World Title Tournament and last weeks intense Full Metal Mayhem.

Bully Ray leads Aces & Eights down to the ring and good lord, Brooke looks amazing. Bully hugs Taz at ringside and then clowns on Tenay for falling for what happened last week.

Bully says he is the puppet master and he says that he makes all the fans believe whatever he wants them to believe and calls them all suckers. He says A&8 isn’t about quality, it’s about quality and then he has Brooke turn around and show off her ass as he says, “that is what you call quality.” Bully says he doesn’t need to be the World Champion to be the most talked about guy in TNA and he is the be all and end all of TNA. Bully says Mr. Anderson tried to drive a wedge between he and his club and a wedge between he and his girl but no one drives a wedge between he and his girl except him. Bully officially accepts Anderson’s challenge for “Turning Point” and he says he isn’t just going to Piledrive him on the stage this time, he will Piledrive Anderson through the stage.

Mr. Anderson comes out and he says that everyone is sick and tired of A&8, and when he beats Bully next week A&8 will be done and disbanded forever. Bully says he will never agree to that stipulation but Anderson says he’ll sweeten the pot. Anderson points out that his wife is pregnant with twins right now and he says if Bully beats him next week he will be done in TNA and he’ll just go home and be a dad from now on. Bully likes that idea as Anderson gets up on the apron. Bully says he would love to Pilerive Anderson’s pregnant wife, that may be a little much Bully. Bully says Anderson must be insane to be willing to put his career on the line against him and he must be in Anderson’s head pretty bad. Anderson says he is crazy and decks Bully! Garett Bischoff and Knux attack Anderson as Bully finds a steel chair nearby.

Bully goes to hit Anderson with it but he kicks Bully in the nuts and then clotheslines Bischoff and Knux over the top rope! Anderson grabs the chair and Bully bails out of the ring! Anderson says he has Bully’s ass next week but he’s feeling frisky right now and he says he wants either Knux or Bischoff right now.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Mr. Anderson vs. Knux

As Knux hits the ring Anderson jumps him and puts the boots to him before mounting him in the corner and raining down right hands. Anderson bounces off the ropes and connects with a clothesline but Knux doesn’t go down. Anderson attempts the same thing again but this time Knux ducks and then hits a Cross Body Block for a nearfall! Knux chokes Anderson in the ropes and then hits a Body Guillotine as Anderson was hung up in the ropes. Knux beats on Anderson in a corner and then whips him hard into the opposite corner. Knux boxes the head of Anderson and then tosses him out to the floor. Knux follows Anderson out and slams him into the ring steps. Knux then hits an Elbow Drop on Anderson as he lies on the floor. Knux rolls back into the ring and taunts the crowd before grabbing Anderson by the head and dragging him onto the apron. Knux Suplexes Anderson over the top rope into the ring for another nearfall. Knux puts Anderson in a chinlock but Anderson fights back up to his feet and breaks the hold with body shots. Anderson goes for the Green Bay Plunge but Knux blocks it and shoves Anderson into the ropes. Knux hits a Splash followed by a Sidewalk Slam! 1…2…NO Anderson kicks out again! Knux hits a Shortarm Clothesline and then laughs at Anderson and screams at him to just stay down. Knux picks Anderson up and hits another Shortarm Clothesline. Knux goes for a third clothesline but this time Anderson catches him with the Mic Check! 1…2…3!

Winner: Anderson via pinfall (Mic Check)

Mr. Anderson does his usual “Misteeeeeeer Anderson” introduction after the match and says he’s going to whoop Bully Ray’s ass next week.

Backstage Joseph Park bitches about what Bad Influence did last week to him and he says he wants Christopher Daniels one-on-one tonight. He says that he’ll leave EY in the back tonight and Daniels needs to leave Kaz in the back and they can settle things one-on-one.

Daniels and Kaz talk about Park’s challenge and Daniels mockingly says he was just trying to hydrate Park last week when he threw the drink in his face. Daniels says EY will stay backstage during the match because he’ll probably be fishing or trying to find something in his beard anyway. Daniels says he’ll handle it alone and Kaz can stay backstage. Bobby Roode walks up to them and they talk about the new EGO t-shirt.

Those last two promos were actually apart of TNA’s 365 thing online and were actually originally posted on Youtube.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

A vignette highlighting the Aries-Angle match for later tonight is shown, great video package with Angle and Aries talking about how difficult a Submission Match is. Angle even name drops Ken Shamrock when talking about the wrestlers he watched to draw influence from.

“Fallen Angel” Christopher Daniels vs. Joseph Park

Daniels kicks Park and then chops and hits him with forearms. Daniels hits the ropes but Park catches him with a Hip Toss followed by a shoulder block. Daniels asks for a time out and then a handshake, but instead Park pulls him into another shoulder block. Park whips Daniels into the corner and then walks into a chop to the throat from Daniels. Park comes back with a double leg takedown, and then Park goes or a Boston Crab but Daniels gets to the ropes and slides out of the ring. Park chases Daniels around the ring and then back into the ring where Daniels kicks the bottom rope into Park’s face. Daniels puts the boots to Park and then a series of elbows followed by a Sliding Clothesline to the back of Park for a one count. Daniels attempts to whip Park into the ropes but Park reverses it and then goes for a clothesline, but Daniels ducks and then goes for a Sunset Flip. Park blocks it and attempts a Cannonball Splash but Daniels rolls out of the way. Daniels chops the back of Park and then kicks Park in the face for a nearfall. Daniels puts Park in a chinlock and Park fights off the hold with elbows. Daniels hits Park in the back repeatedly taking Park back down to the mat. Park comes back with a Samoan Drop out of nowhere! Park hits a shoulder block and then a Scoop Slam followed by a Sidewalk Slam! 1…2…NO Daniels kicks out! Park hits a Vertical Suplex and then climbs up top. Daniels rolls away but as he does Park climbs back down and hits a Corner Splash and then he hits a series of rights and lefts. The referee pulls Park away which irritates him and he shoves the referee away. Daniels kicks Park in the balls as the referee was turned around and then he rolls him up for the pin.

Winner: Daniels via pinfall (rollup)

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Backstage Knux is pissed about losing to Anderson but Bully says it’s cool because they have Anderson where they want him. Bully says Anderson is in the palm of his hands in a No DQ Match and they’ll get rid of him. They head off to a strip club to enjoy the rest of the night.

Handicap Match
Ethan Carter III vs. Dewey Barnes & Norv Fernum

EC3 laughs as Barnes and Fernum come to the ring. Norv punches EC3 and then ducks a clothesline and puts EC3 in a wristlock. He tags in Barnes and holds EC3 as Barnes dives off the bottom rope (you read that right) with an Axe Handle Drop to the outstretched arm of EC3. Barnes tags Fernum back in and Fernum dives off the middle rope with an Axe Handle Drop to EC3. Barnes tags back in and he dives off the top rope this time with a Diving Double Foot Stomp to the arm of EC3. Barnes hits a Flying Forearm to EC3 which pisses him off and he then destroys Barnes with a forearm of his own. EC3 hits a series of right hands on Barnes and then he hits a Snap Suplex. EC3 taunts Barnes as he almost lets him get the tag and then drops him with a Back Suplex. EC3 charges at Barnes in the corner but eats an elbow. Barnes hits another elbow and then hits a Floatover Spinning Headscissors. Barnes then dives to his corner and tags Fernum back in. Fernum hits a shoulder block through the ropes on EC3 and then a Flying Cross Body off the top! Fernum climbs back up top and hits a Missile Dropkick! Fernum gets to the top again and hits a Tornado DDT! 1…2…NO EC3 kicks out as Taz says that Tornado DDT sucked (it did). Fernum tries to get the crowd behind him and EC3 kicks him in the head. EC3 obliterates Fernum with the One Percenter but as he was setting up for it Barnes blind tags himself into the match. Barnes dives off the top but EC3 catches him by the throat and hits the One Percenter! EC3 covers both of them and gets the pin.

Winner: EC3 via pinfall (One Percenter)

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Another “Friends of AJ” vignette airs with more highlights of his appearance for AAA in Mexico. He says he’s come to show that being a champion means something. AJ is shown talking to Joaquin Roldan with more highlights from the match with Mesias. He says that he is just getting started.

Dixie bitches about the video package being shown again.

Highlights from last week’s Full Metal Mayhem are shown and then Hardy talks about the match. He shows his chipped tooth from the match and he says he’s going to study whoever his opponent is in the Semifinals like no other. Hardy says he did a TLC style match for the first time 16 years ago and it makes him extremely proud to still be able to do that match and have people enjoy it.

A video package highlighting Austin Aries’ career is shown.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Dixie Carter comes down to the ring to a chorus of boos. She says it’s so hard to be perfect all of the time like her but she doesn’t have to go around proving herself because of that. she says that every once in awhile it just feels right to say how right she is like when she kicked that “redneck” (AJ Styles) off her roster. Dixie says this is a business and it’s about “what have you done for me lately” and other than get under her skin AJ Styles has done nothing for her but steal her title belt and defend it in Mexico. An “AJ” chant starts up and she says again AJ is not her World Champion and her lawyers will handle him. She calls the current World Title Tournament the most innovative tournament in the history of the business. Dixie hypes up the Submission Match for tonight and then says there will be two more tournament matches next week at “Turning Point.”

She introduces Bobby Roode, James Storm, Magnus, and Samoa Joe. Dixie says Roode will face Storm and Magnus will face Joe and she spun the “Wheel of Dixie” earlier to decide which match they will have. She mentions that she posted that on the internet via TNA365. Dixie says that Storm and Roode will face each other in a Bullrope Match and she says that Roode has the advantage because it’s about “what have you done lately” and Roode has beat Kurt Angle twice lately. She tells Storm to step up and prove what he is made of.

Storm gets pissed and says he doesn’t have to show her a damn thing because she isn’t ready to “ride in this rodeo.” Storm says he has a “heart that won’t quit, hair past my shoulders with a redneck underneath, a little twang in my slang, and a cold six pack to go with it” and he’s pretty sure he’s got the people on his side in the feeling that it’s time for the redneck to get back his title. Storm says Roode facing him in a Bullrope Match there’s only one thing to say, “sorry about yo damn luck.”

Dixie announces that Joe and Magnus will face in a Falls Count Anywhere Match and she taunts Joe calling him a “TNA original like his little redneck buddy AJ Styles.” Joe says the only reason she’s gathered everyone in this tournament is to cover for her inability to reach a deal with AJ Styles. Dixie tells Joe to watch himself but he says she needs to realize who needs who. Joe says they’re all here being used by her to cover for her bad business. Joe says he has her covered because after he runs through the tournament the first man he’ll defend the belt against is the man that never lost it in the first place whether it’s here or anywhere else in the world. Dixie gets pissed at Joe and says there is no way she will allow that to happen.

Magnus says the reason they put MEM on ice is the same premise of this tournament, to win the World Championship and the spirit of competition. Magnus says if he wants to lay claim to being the top dog he knows he has to beat the very best and he knows that’s Samoa Joe. Magnus says it won’t be easy but it will happen. Dixie says this tournament is about finding HER champion that will look after her causes and that person will be the one, true, real Heavyweight Champion.

In the back Mr. Anderson jumps Garett Bischoff and throws him into the side of a big equipment case. Anderson handcuffs to a something and then grabs a beer and says he needs to have a little talk with Garett.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

A video package hypes up Turning Point and then another one airs highlighting Angle’s TNA career.

Gail Kim comes out along with Lei’D Tapa for the Open Challenge. Gail says she issued her open challenge last week and again calls herself the greatest Knockouts Champion of all time. Gail says that a lot of names were mentioned but someone has to actually show up and then Hannah Blossom of the Blossom Twins from the UK comes out.

Open Challenge
Gail Kim w/Lei’D Tapa vs. Hannah Blossom

If Hannah wins this match then she will receive a KO Title shot. Gail kicks Hannah hard as the bell rings and then she slams her into the turnbuckles. Gail hits a European Uppercut and slams her face into the mat. Gail whips Hannah into the corner and then hits a Flying Splash in the corner. Gail slams Hannah to the mat by her hair. Hannah fights back with body shots but Gail kicks her and takes her down again slamming her face into the mat. Gail slams her into the corner and repeatedly kicks her before slamming her face into the top turnbuckle. Gail rolls out to the floor and wraps Hannah’s legs around the ring post in a Hanging Figure Four! Gail talks trash to Hannah before finally releasing the hold. Gail gets down on all four and dares Hannah to kick her in the ribs which Hannah obliges in doing, but Gail saw it coming and sweeps her legs for a nearfall. Gail goes for a forearm but Hannah blocks it and hits a series of forearms and clotheslines! Hannah hits a Snap Suplex and then a Splash for a nearfall. Hannah picks Gail up and whips her into the corner. She charges at Gail but eats a big clothesline. Gail hits the Eat Defeat for the pin.

Winner: Gail via pifnall (Eat Defeat)

Gail grabs the microphone after the match and mockingly tells Hannah nice try and she says that she is going to show week after week why she is the most dominating Knockout Champion of all time.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Joseph Park comes down to the ring again and he says that when he came to Impact a year ago was to find his brother, ya’ know Abyss. Park says he couldn’t just walk away from all of the support he got from the fans but lately a few things have been getting under his skin like Bad Influence saying he’ll never be the wrestler that Abyss is. Park says they’re right because his brother is a future TNA Hall of Famer but the thing that really gets under his skin is all the accusations that people have made saying that when Abyss is here Park isn’t and when Park is here Abyss isn’t. Park says “how the hell am I supposed to know where he’s at?!” Park says that Abyss is crazy and he’s liable to show up anytime, but he has a solution to this whole problem. Park says you only live once and then issues an open challenge for next to his brother Abyss!

Backstage Anderson puts Bischoff on his shoulders and drags him away.
