Dr. Xtreme Murdered

Early Tuesday morning former CMLL star, Dr. Xtreme, was murdered outside of a party in the early morning hours. A fight between several men broke out at the party and one of the men pulled out a gun and shot wildly, missing his target, and striking Dr. Xtreme in the head and killing him. He wasn’t even involved in the altercation. No arrests have been made. Dr. Xtreme was previously known as Dr. X in CMLL for many years before finally leaving the promotion several months ago due to being frustrated with the direction of the company. Dr. Xtreme, real name Clemente Marcelina Valencia Najera, was 43 years old and he is a 16 year veteran in Lucha Libre. Dr. Xtreme is a former Mexican National Welterweight Champion and Mexican National Trios Champion. Dr. Xtreme was trained by Rafael Salamanca, La Cobra, and the legendary Satanico & original Scorpio. I send my condolences to Dr. Xtreme and his entire family and friends. That makes 3 Luchadors (Fabian el Gitano, Hijo del Cien Caras, and now Dr. Xtreme) murdered in 2011 alone. Something has got to be done about the violence in Mexico.

R.I.P. Dr. Xtreme

3) AAA Tag Team Titles Tables, Ladders, & Chairs Match: Abyss & Chessman def. Extreme Tiger & Jack Evans (c) to win the titles!
4) 2011 Copa Antonio Pena Battle Royal: Electroshock def. La Parka Jr., Brutus Magnus, Joe Lider, El Zorro, Jeff Jarrett, L.A. Park, Cibernetico, & Silver Kain
5) El Mesias fought Sting to a NO CONTEST
6) AAA Latin American Title Bull Terrier Match: Dr. Wagner Jr. (c) def. Perro Aguayo Jr. to retain the title!
7) Mask vs. Hair Steel Cage Match: Monster Clown, Murder Clown, & Psycho Clown def. Nicho el Millionario, Damian 666, & Halloween
* NOTES *
– Opener was a “Glow In The Dark Match” where the girls were supposed to wear gear (or paint) that was glow in the dark but Sexy Star was the only one that really showed up very well.
– All of the AAA exoticos attacked Pimpinela after the 2nd match, but Cassandro made his AAA return and made the save for Pimpinela.
– The Tag Titles Match was a TLC Match and was a wild one. In the end Chessman put Jack Evans through a table and then pulled the titles down. Chessman & Abyss are the 9th AAA Tag Team Champions and this is both Chessman & Abyss’ first time holding the belts.
– The Battle Royal came down to Electro, L.A. Park, & Jarrett. Jarrett & Park double teamed Electro for a long time but then as Jarrett was posing on the ropes at one point Park shoved him off the ropes to eliminate him. Jarrett went nuts and then tried to get Park eliminated but Park fought him off. The masked Zorro then ran out (who knows if it’s really Zorro this time?) and helped Electro eliminate Park.
– Mesias-Sting was a MESS. Jarrett, Abyss, and Brutus Magnus came out and tried to help Sting and Brutus offered up a chair to Sting but Sting hit him with it (Sting had told Jarrett to stay out of the match). Sting and Mesias then ran the TNA guys off and shook hands. There wasn’t any DQ but the match just stopped and they went to the back. Just ridiculous.
– Wagner-Perro was another mess, Konnan Big was in Perro’s corner and Octagon was in Wagner’s corner. It was pretty much just one big brawl and the Bull Terrier rules (pretty much just a Dog Collar Match where you have to touch every corner to win) didn’t help. Wagner got the win and then Octagon came into the ring and nailed Wagner with a chair to the surprise of everyone! La Parka Jr. then ran down to save Wagner but instead helped Octagon beat down Wagner! Konnan announced them as the newest members of La Sociedad. Alot of people are questioning whether it’s the real Octagon & Parka or just another case of fakes in the mask (which is getting old).
– The Cage Match was billed as being inside the Domed Cage but they used a regular cage instead. Joe Lider and Bestia 666 got involved. Joe Lider held Nicho down on a table and Psycho Clown dove off the top of the cage and splashed him through the table. The clowns won it and all 3 Perros had their heads shaved.
