Claudio Castagnoli & Jimmy Rave w/ Prince Nana & Ernie Osiris def. Colt Cabana & Brent Albright.
Castagnoli and Rave attacked Cabana and Albright before the official bell even rang to start the match. Lots of double team work by Castagnoli and Rave over Albright. The finish saw Prince Nana low blow Albright with the referee distracted to setup Claudio hitting the Riccola Bomb for the pinfall. After the match, Claudio kicked a steel chair into the face of Albright. Necro Butcher ran out for the save.
Backstage, Kyle Durden was with The American Wolves. Davey Richards said he was pissed off that the attention they should be receiving is instead being focused on Mark Briscoe’s return to ROH and wondered why El Generico would even want to get in the ring with him. Eddie Edwards added that the hunt was on tonight.
A video package airs highlighting the history of Nigel McGuinness and Tyler Black in ROH. McGuinness and Black will face off next week.
Delirious w/ Daizee Haze def. Silas Young.
Rather short match here. The finish saw Delirious hit Shadows over Hell for the win. After the match, Kyle Durden attempted an interview with Delirious and he said something.
Video was shown of The American Wolves defeating Kevin Steen & El Generico to become the new ROH Tag Team Champions.
Hogewood and Prazak announced that the show would be moving to Monday night’s starting August 17. Hogewood even yelled out a, “Slap the porpoise!”
Mark Briscoe w/ Jay Briscoe def Alex Payne.
Mark hit a big spinning heel kick on Payne early in the match along with a northern lights suplex. Quick match here with Mark hitting a powerbomb on Payne for the pinfall. After the match, The Briscoe’s shook Payne’s hand.
Davey Richards w/ Sara Del Rey, Shane Hagadorn & Eddie Edwards) vs. El Generico w/ Kevin Steen ended in a No Contest.
It was all Generico early on as he connected with a big kick to the head on Richards. He followed that up with a big flipping plancha over the top rope taking out both Richards and Eddie Edwards. Lots of distracting the referee by the heels for some interference midway through. Very unique spot saw Generico dive through the corner between the middle and bottom ropes and hit a DDT on Richards. The finish saw Generico have Richards setup for a top rope brain buster when Eddie Edwards ran in attacking Generico. Steen ran in to make the save and the referee called for the bell. Others ran down from the ROH locker room causing a big brawl.
