Kurt Angle books 30 Minute Iron Man for Extreme Rules, Update on Shinsuke Nakamura’s recovery

Extreme Rules

After video was posted earlier today showing a confrontation between WWE Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler and Seth Rollins, RAW GM Kurt Angle has booked a championship match between the two for Extreme Rules in two weeks.

Ziggler will now defend the Intercontinental Championship against Rollins in a 30 Minute Iron Man match at the PPV in Pittsburgh on July 15.

As reported earlier, the official website for the PPG Paints Arena seemed to spoil some matches that will be announced in the coming weeks for Extreme Rules.

Update on Shinsuke Nakamura’s recovery

Nikkan Sports is featuring an interview with WWE star Shinsuke Nakamura getting an update on his health after his was forced out of the ring after an incident in Bakersfield last week involving a police dog at the arena.

According to the interview, Nakamura will likely remain out of action for another two weeks after he was bit on the leg by a police dog doing a sweep of the arena where a WWE live event was being held in California last week.

The injury forced Nakamura off last week’s Smackdown Live taping and he was unable to wrestle at WWE events overseas in Japan and Taiwan this past weekend.
