We see video highlighting last week’s main event between Adrian Neville and Tyson Kidd for the NXT Title that saw Neville retain his title after Natalya stopped her husband from using a chair.

Backstage, Natalya walks up to NXT GM JBL and says that Kidd has had an awful week and I wanted to do something to make it up to him and make a suggestion that he teams with Sami Zayn and they form a team. At least it would be something fresh. JBL agrees, thanks Natalya and says he will think about it.

We see the usual intro, then go to the opening match.

“The Boss” Sasha Banks w/NXT Women’s Champion Charlotte & Summer Rae vs. Alexa Bliss

Sasha piefaces Bliss and mocks her early. Sasha with a side headlock and a shoulder tackle. Sasha talks trash, then Bliss with a wheelbarrow into an armdrag. Sasha misses a clothesline and Bliss with a tilt-a-whirl into an inside cradle for a nearfall. Dropkick sends Sasha into the corner, then Bliss with a Monkey Flip. Sasha stops Bliss from sliding under her legs, but Bliss with a forearm. Bliss goes for a spinning headscissors, but Sasha counters with a backbreaker for a nearfall. More trash talk by Sasha, then drives Bliss into the mat. Surfboard applied as we see Charlotte & Summer having problems with one another on the outside. Sasha gains a nearfall. Summer begins arguing with Charlotte as Sasha begins getting distracted by this as she is working over Bliss.

This allows Bliss to roll-up Sasha for the win.

Winner: Alexa Bliss by pinfall (Roll-Up)

Afterwards, Charlotte & Summer continue to argue, with Summer slapping Charlotte. The two begin fighting with one another, with Sasha getting in-between them to break it up. Summer rips on Sasha for losing and leaves up the ramp, posing on the top of the rampway.

Backstage, Natalya walks up to Tyson Kidd and asks if he is OK. Kidd says he is fine. Natalya says she is excited for his match tonight, you are gonna do great. Kidd says that last week, Natalya cost him the NXT Title. Natalya says that Kidd was really gonna try and win by cheating? Bringing a chair into the ring is an automatic DQ, you’re better than that. Kidd says he knows what the rules are. Natalya says for Kidd to lose the attitude with her, she is only trying to help him and all I’ve ever done is try to help you. Kidd says he knows, the tag title shot is cool, but I could have gotten it on my own, I didn’t need you to go to JBL for it. Natalya says Kidd should be saying thank you. Kidd says he appreciates it, but I’m just letting you know that I could have gotten this on my own. I have to go find ol’ Sami Zayn and go over some tag team strategy, you know, that’s what happens in these tag matches. Kidd walks off.

Back from commercial, we see a black and white, silent movie style promo from Aiden English & Simon Gotch, now known as the Vaudevillians. English says to Gotch that he is so excited, I declare that we will take the WWE by storm. Gotch agrees and says that the very first step they must take is winning the NXT Tag Team Titles. English says that is a fantastic idea because we are the Vaudevillians, the best thing to ever be. Gotch says they are the best thing ever, in both entertainment, sports and sports-entertainment. They shake hands and laugh to close the segment.

Mojo Rawley vs. Garrett Dylan

Crowd chants for Mojo as the bell sounds. Mojo with a side headlock takeover. Dylan counters with a headscissors, but Mojo gets free and re-applies the side headlock. Mojo avoids a corner charge and drives Dylan into the corner. Series of shoulders to the ribs in the corner by Mojo. Mojo charges, but Dylan sends him into the middle turnbuckle. Side slam by Dylan for a nearfall. Dylan with a series of gut shots in the corner, then chokes Mojo in the ropes. Dylan taunts the crowd, then hits a soccer kick to the ribs of Mojo. Right hand and a back club by Dylan. Mojo fights back, but Dylan locks him in an abdominal stretch, along with clubs to the exposed ribs of Mojo. Crowd wills on Mojo. Mojo counters out with a hiptoss. Mojo with a series of right hands, followed by a big shoulder tackle. 2 avalanches in the corner, followed by the Butt-Butt.

Mojo goes into Hyper-Drive for the win.

Backstage, Sami Zayn walks up to Tyson Kidd and asks him if he is ready for their match tonight. Kidd says he is ready. Zayn says they have both come off of some big losses. Kidd last week for the NXT Title and myself at NXT Takeover in a #1 Contenders Match. Let’s redeem ourselves tonight and win the NXT Tag Team Titles. Kidd says this is the restart, let’s do this and they leave.

Back from commercial, we see CJ Parker walking through the crowd with a sign that reads “Kill-O Watt: Light a Candle” and “Eat Local, Think Global.”

Ring announcer Eden Stiles says that Tyler Breeze has entered the building.

The same black and white, silent movie lighting and filming pops up as the Vaudevillians make their way onto the rampway. Aiden English has a megaphone and says that ladies and gentlemen, boys and girls, children of all ages, we have two gentlemen here to give you the greatest spectacle in all of World, Wrestling and Entertainment. Aiden English, Simon Gotch, the Vaudevillians. Ragtime music then plays for the Vaudevillians entrance as they make their way to the ring.

The Vaudevillians (“The Artiste” Aiden English & Simon Gotch) vs. Angelo Dawkins & Travis Tyler

Dawkins & Gotch start. Dawkins with an amateur takedown early. Gotch takes down Dawkins in a hammerlock and does a one-armed push-up on his back. Tyler in, but Gotch with a front chancery. English in, spinning neckbreaker for a nearfall. English takes a bow, then hits a legdrop. English takes another bow, then hammerlocks Tyler’s arm and drops backward, almost Indian Deathlock style. Gotch in and hammerlocks Tyler’s arm, does some squats, then drops backward also. Cravate applied, English tags in. English with a gut shot and a knee to the face. Gotch in, flexes and hits a big gut shot to Tyler. Gotch stops Tyler from making a tag by doing more squats. Gotch lifts up Tyler and tags in English.

Gotch with a Finlay Roll, then English with a senton bomb off the middle rope for the win.

Backstage, Devin Taylor interviews Colin Cassady. Cassady says that’s its no secret that as of late, things have been going as smooth as a fine, grain leather for Big Cass. But, it feels like things could be a little better. It feels like something is missing and its about time that everybody in NXT starts to sing a different tune. “When the moon hits your eye like a big pizza pie, that’s…..” Cassady pats Devin on the nose and walks off.

Back from commercial, Devin Taylor interviews Rob Van Dam. RVD says he is here in NXT to see what this is all about. Lot of excitement about NXT for a good reason. All of the superstars on RAW & Smackdown are so good now and I understand they are coming through here first. So, I am checking out all of the talent and I found who the best guy is, Adrian Neville. Adrian Neville, Rob Van Dam wants to wrestle you and that’s what I am doing here tonight. NXT with RVD, Mr. Monday Night is gonna be Mr. Thursday Night, that’s what I’m doing here.

Kalisto vs. “Prince Pretty” Tyler Breeze

“Lucha” chants before the bell. Breeze backs Kalisto into the corner, but Kalisto gets free. Breeze again backs Kalisto into the corner, but Kalisto cartwheels out of an armdrag attempt. Breeze with a side headlock. Breeze takes down Kalisto and gains a 1 count, with Kalisto back bridging to get his shoulders up. Kalisto tries to whip Breeze off the ropes, but Breeze maintains control and takes Kalisto back down. Kalisto turns over and pins Breeze for a 1 count. Kalisto tries for the whip again, but again Breeze maintains control and takes Kalisto back down. Kalisto finally gets out, then hits a springboard crossbody. Kalisto does a handstand, then backflips and takes Breeze down with a headscissors takeover that sends Breeze to the outside. Kalisto with a head of steam and bounces off the ropes, feigning a dive. “Lucha” chants for Kalisto as we go to commercial.

Back from commercial as Breeze with a jawbreaker, then stomps away at Kalisto in the corner. Breeze gains a 1 count. Front chancery applied. Crowd wills on Kalisto. Breeze drops down to put more pressure on the hold. Breeze with a knee to the ribs once they get to their feet. Kalisto comes back with a rana for a nearfall. Breeze then with a big right hand. Right hands from the mount by Breeze for a series of nearfalls. Breeze is starting to get frustrated. Breeze with a back club and goes back to the front chancery. Crowd again wills on Kalisto. Breeze with a running bulldog into the middle turnbuckle once they get to their feet. Kalisto rolls out onto the apron and hits a kick from underneath. Springboard crossbody by Kalisto, both men down. They get back up by the ref’s 9 count. Kalisto with a leg kick, a right hand and a roll-up into a head kick for a nearfall. Kalisto sent onto the apron, but he cartwheels over Breeze once he heads up top.

Kalisto avoids a superkick by Breeze, but runs right into the Beauty Shot that gets Breeze the win.

Main Event for the NXT Tag Team Titles: Tyson Kidd & Sami Zayn vs. The Ascension (Konnor & Viktor) (c’s)

Zayn & Viktor start. Viktor with a back club and a forearm to the kidneys. Right hands in the corner, followed by a chop. Another forearm to the kidneys, followed by a back club. Zayn leaps over Viktor, leg lariat for a nearfall. Viktor stops Zayn from making a tag, drives him into the corner. Konnor in, big right hand and an uppercut to Zayn. Konnor stomps away at Zayn in the corner. Another gut kick, Viktor tags in. Viktor gains a 1 count. Viktor with a series of chops and uppercuts to Zayn, then rakes his face. Viktor with a gut kick, Konnor tags in. Konnor with more stomps and right hands to Zayn in the corner. Viktor in, again stops Zayn from making a tag and hits a back suplex for a nearfall. We see that Kidd has dropped down off the apron and goes down to the outside. Kidd yells out to Zayn that it seems that he wants to take the whole match, so go right ahead and do so. Zayn fights back on Viktor, but Viktor with a knee to the ribs. Zayn fights out of the Ascension corner, hits a crossbody off the top on Viktor, but Kidd won’t get back up on the apron and tag in. Konnor in and when Zayn turns around, Konnor hits an avalanche.

Viktor in, Fall of Man by the Ascension on Zayn for the win.

Winners and STILL NXT Tag Team Champions: The Ascension by pinfall (Fall of Man)

The Ascension stand tall over a fallen Zayn, celebrating their title retention while Kidd walks off to the back as the show closes.
