During appearances on talk shows on Friday in Mexico, former WWE star Alberto Rodriguez (Alberto Del Rio) stated he will be unable to wrestle in the United States for a full year. He briefly addressed and admitted to the confrontation with a WWE employee regarding his release, but didn’t go into any detail according to a report by Mike Johnson.
The belief is that by him stating he is unable to wrestle in the U.S. for a year would most likely have to do with a breach of his WWE contract. Talent in breach of contract are informed they will no longer be paid additional revenue owed and the main penalty is that they are unable to take part in any pro wrestling or MMA events for a period of one year.
