Roman Reigns undergoes emergency surgery in Nashville

Update (2:03 p.m. ET): WWE had promoted that an update on Reigns would be provided on the WWE Network at 1:00 p.m. ET (Noon CT) today. The update never aired.

WWE.com is reporting that Roman Reigns was rushed to a hospital in Nashville to under emergency surgery for an incarcerated hernia. Reigns had been in Nashville promoting the Night of Champions PPV this Sunday night. How long the surgery will keep Reigns out of action is to be determined by the local surgeon.

Reigns was scheduled to face Seth Rollins tomorrow night at Night of Champions.

Wrestleview.com’s Jason Namako sent us word that recovery time for an incarcerated hernia is normally one to two weeks and four weeks before any strenuous activity.
