New England Patriots celebrate with WWE World Heavyweight Title

The WWE World Heavyweight Championship made an appearance at the New England Patriots’ Super Bowl parade Feb. 4 in Boston. Three days after celebrating the Patriots’ thrilling (or devastating, depending on who you ask) victory over the Seattle Seahawks, WWE COO Triple H sent a WWE World Heavyweight Title to honor the champions, who proudly showcased the WWE gold during their parade.

Native New Englanders, Triple H and Stephanie McMahon traveled to Glendale, Ariz., Sunday to watch Tom Brady and the Pats capture their fourth Super Bowl in person. They even joined in the team’s post-game festivities, where The Game recreated D-Generation X with defensive end Chandler Jones.

You aren’t a champion unless you have the title to prove it, and now that they have a WWE World Heavyweight Championship, the Pats can say, “The champ is here!”

Triple H on Twitter about sending the Patriots WWE World Title belts:

“.@WWE Title on its way to @GilletteStadium for @Patriots parade! Congrats @RobGronkowski @Edelman11 #SuperBowlChamps”
