Ryback takes pride in staying healthy as part of WWE’s roster, Pete Gas on Shane McMahon’s surprise return to WWE in 2016

Brian Fritz passed along two interviews with Ryback and Pete Gas.

Ryback talks facing Kalisto for the WWE United States Championship at WrestleMania 32 this Sunday and why he talks pride in staying healthy.

“I take pride in staying healthy. The last 4 1/2 years I believe I have missed 11 weeks, which is great as a full-time WWE performer. I’ve not requested one day off for anything of that nature. Guys are going to go down with injuries. The name of the game up here is staying healthy and when guys go down, there’s opportunities for other guys. For me this year, it’s very rewarding. Otherwise, I may not have been on this show. I find myself in a very prime position to win the United States Championship.”

Pete Gas talks about Shane McMahon not telling anyone about his return to WWE.

“It’s funny. I actually spoke with Shane earlier in the day. Every now and then, I’ll pick up the phone and just call him to try and catch up a little bit. We’ve been talking quite a bit lately. I called him that Monday around 1:30 in the afternoon and I asked him what he was doing. He said dropping off something at school for his son. I didn’t think much of it. We talked for a few minutes and a couple of hours later he’s in Detroit and my jaw hit the floor.”
