WWE changes names of championships
WWE quietly over the weekend on WWE.com changed the names of the title belts on RAW to reflect its brand, notably changing the WWE World Tag Titles and WWE Women’s Title to the RAW Tag Team Titles and RAW Women’s Title respectively. This puts the titles on equal footing with the Smackdown Tag Team and Smackdown Women’s Titles that saw their first champions crowned last night at the Backlash PPV.
Location for first RAW of 2017
The first WWE Monday Night RAW TV taping of 2017 will take place on January 2, 2017 live in Tampa, Florida at the Amile Arena.
