Bill Goldberg

Bill Goldberg made his first WWE appearance for the first time in 12 years on last night’s 10/17 WWE RAW live from Denver to address the challenge issued by Paul Heyman last week for a fight against Brock Lesnar.

Here is a summary from Mike Tedesco’s 10/17 WWE RAW report on Monday night.

“But then, Brock Lesnar challenged me to a fight, but he didn’t have the balls to do it himself. He let Paul Heyman, his fat little stooge, do it for him. So that got me thinking, Simon, what would you do?” A “YES” chant breaks out. Goldberg smiles and continues on. “And I thought to myself maybe… maybe I have one more ass kicking left in me. I thought to myself, ‘Maybe I have one badass spear left in me.’ Then I thought to myself, ‘Maybe I have one last devastating jackhammer left in me.’ So, Brock Lesnar, not only does that mean that you’re next… but most importantly it means Brock Lesnar, YOU’RE LAST!”

  1. So, they’re billing him as “The Greatest Champion in WCW History,” which pretty much all but guarantees him a head-scratching loss. But then, we should expect that, anyway. He owes Lesnar one.

  2. Yeah didn’t like that part of the intro…as big a Goldberg mark as I was back in the day, pretty sure Ric Flair and Sting are the only two that should be considered as the greatest champ in WCW history.

  3. And this will be one huge payday for Bill, and while Vince not only buries him (and any WCW legacy) but also uses it to shill his latest game.
