Brock Lesnar vs. Kane booked before Royal Rumble

The weekend of the Royal Rumble PPV will now feature WWE Universal Champion Brock Lesnar in action the night before at a WWE live event.

Brock Lesnar vs. Kane is being advertised for a WWE live event in Baltimore on January 27 on the Royal Farms Arena website, one day before the Rumble in Philadelphia.

Lesnar was added to the card as a replacement for Dean Ambrose, who was scheduled for matches teaming with The Shield. Lesnar defends the WWE Universal Championship against Kane and Braun Strowman the next night at the Rumble in a triple threat match.

  1. God forbid Brock Lesnar wrestles on RAW. The fact that he wrestles here and there on PPVs and house shows are one of the main reasons he’s overrated.

  2. I may be a bit slow but does anyone else notice reboots of factions usually suck? Dx, Nwo, the shield. When they come back the raw edginess is gone and is replaced with corporate attitude and shiny merchandise. The shield sucks and it was beyond me why everyone was pushing for it. The buried Seth. Dean got old quickly and Reigns is robotic. They need to give him a little more freedom of expression. I’m more entertained by Jason Jordan at the moment
