  1. “Angle confirms a 5 on 5 traditional elimination match, but adds not one but two will take place. A men’s elimination and a women’s elimination.”

That was the setup last year.

  2. So Balor finally has an awesome match against one of the best in the company only to lose to Kane the very next day? What does this achieve?

  3. Okkay, but should WWE be looking at a part-time mayoral candidate, or building up a promising, younger superstar full of potential? What does this do for Finn is my question..

  4. WWE are just Building Kane up to pass the torch to Braun Strowman as the new Monster of WWE.

At least Kane did 3 Chokeslams instead of 1 to win the match.

  5. As SkullKiller said, that match was mot about building up Balor. It was about building up Kane and using the Big Red Monster to build up Strowman.

  6. I think he got the 5-on5 matches mixed up with RAW Champions will face SDLive Champions for the first time in a long time

  7. Actually it hasn’t. There were several years when the elimination matches were 4 on 4 and 1 or 2 years where there were no elimination matches at all.

  8. I should of been more clear, meaning the PPV usually will have an elimination match of somehow meaning 4 on 4 or 5 on 5 like in the olden days. Maybe that is what I was thinking of. When was a survivor series that had no elimination matches?

  9. A roster this big and you choose Balor to be fed to Kane though? Surely you could have fed the Titus Brand to Kane or something instead?

  10. Most recently 1998 when there was a tournament for the vacant WWF (as the company was known then) Championship. Technically those could be called elimination matches since it was a tournament , but there no traditional Survivor Series elimination matches that year. The Rock won the tournament and vacant championship by beating Mankind in a rehash of the Montreal Screwjob. This is the only year there were no traditional tag team elimination matches at Survivor Series. There have been several years where there was only one elimination match.

  11. Balor’s huge win last night against AJ was the trade-off for the loss to Kane tonight. Balor’s still quite strong and I don’t think that the loss last night “weakened” him in any way.

  12. I’d like to see Mahal win. Perhaps the Singh brothers attack Heyman during the match, distracting Lesnar, allowing Mahal to pick up the win.

  13. Paul haymen seriously? You mentioned hhh name , shawn michaels name , cena’s name as the champions what about the undertaker? Undertaker made brock the beast by sacrificing his streak. Who will mention the undertaker you fatty old guy!! Undertaker is the best #livinglegend

  14. True, but Balor (one of the few guys the fans are rooting for to become a main event guy who is stuck in the midcard) shouldn’t be the sacrifice to achieve it – they don’t have many other faces but do a Kane destroys another 2 or 3 dudes – same result. WWE needs a face like Balor to become / stay red hot with such a thin roster from a star quality perspective.
