Intro video plays, then commentary welcomes us to the show and talks about the Swann-Kendrick title rematch main event tonight. We go to the opening match.

Dar celebrates his win after.

Good match, but in front of a half-hearted crowd, that unfortunately looks like will be a continued theme of his show as long as it tapes after Smackdown.

Dar is interviewed after and cuts a cocky heel promo, saying he’s 23, he just signed a big money contract and he wants to dedicate his victory, a very special lady, Cedric Alexander’s girlfriend, Alicia Fox. Dar walks off while Cedric is left fuming outside.

Video package spotlights Mustafa Ali, talking about how he was booed instantly during the Cruiserweight Classic and how he is great at many styles of wrestling.

Backstage, TJ Perkins wishes luck to new Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann, saying Swann has been lucky lately, including beating him last night on RAW. But he did win the Cruiserweight Title from Brian Kendrick and he’ll just leave it at that.

We see video from last night’s RAW when Jack Gallagher defeated Ariya Daivari, but Daivari attacked Gallagher after the match.

“The Persian Lion” Ariya Daivari vs. “The Extraordinary Gentleman” Jack Gallagher

Frog Splash by Daivari for the win.

Daivari celebrates his win after. Referee helps Gallagher to the back.

Solid match, nice to see Daivari finally get a win as Gallagher lost nothing as he was protected with having an injury coming into the match.

Video package spotlighting Lince Dorado, who is coming soon.

TJ Perkins comes out to join commentary for the main event.

Brian Kendrick is walking backstage and is interviewed before he heads to the ring. Kendrick says the stress of being the face of the Cruiserweight Division got to him last week in his title loss to Rich Swann, but tonight will be different and I will earn my title back. Now, Rich Swann is a good wrestler and an even better human being, but at the end of the day, I will win my title back.

Pre-match intros for this one. Code of the Cruiserweights adhered to before the bell. Chain wrestling early. Swann counters a back suplex with a crossbody for 2. Series of evasions, Kendrick avoids a dropkick the first time, but not the second as Swann gets 2. Kendrick rolls outside to regroup. Swann slides outside, but Kendrick drives him into the barricade, then hits Sliced Bread #2 on the floor! Kendrick is favoring the leg as the ref begins his 10 count. Kendrick sends Swann back in and covers him for a close 2. Kendrick with crossface shots to Swann, then locks in a chinlock. Swann fights out, but Kendrick with a big boot and a release Dragon Suplex. Captain’s Hook applied, but Swann is able to reach the ropes. Kendrick charges in, but Swann catches him with a kick that sends Kendrick outside. Referee begins his 10 count, but Swann heads to the apron and hits a springboard corkscrew senton wiping out Kendrick outside! Back in, Swann hits a Tiger Bomb for only a 1 count. Swann goes for the Standing 450, but Kendrick counters with a Victory Roll for 2. Swann avoids another Kendrick boot and hits a Fisherman’s Driver for a close 2. Kendrick and Perkins stare each other down, before Kendrick heads back in.

When he does, Swann drills Kendrick with the Swann Song to retain the title.

Winner and STILL WWE Cruiserweight Champion: “The Outlandish” Rich Swann by pinfall (The Swann Song)

Swann celebrates his title retention as Perkins has a smirk on his face. Kendrick then leaps over the announce table and begins brawling with Perkins. Swann comes back to ringside and goes after Kendrick. Perkins goes to superkick Swann, but Kendrick ducks and Perkins accidentally hits Swann. Kendrick sends Perkins into the barricade and walks off as referees back him up, but not before grabbing and lifting up the WWE Cruiserweight Title belt as the show closes.

Another good main event from Swann and Kendrick, but the finish and post-match obviously signifies a future Triple Threat title match, possibly at Roadblock: End of the Line with Perkins. Solid show this week, but a step down from the debut episode because of another weak crowd in Houston.
