No your eyes aren’t playing tricks on you, it’s really “the TNA guy” handling the recap duties for RAW this week. Dave Stephens is sick with the flu (get well, man) so I’m going to take his spot this week. Let’s get to it.

Raw opens up with the opening narration followed by a shot of the crowd and then John Cena’s music hits. The #1 contender makes his way out to the ring to his typical mixed reaction of boos and cheers. Cena is no longer Barney, he’s Big Bird now I guess (wearing yellow gear instead of purple). As Cena picks up the mic the boos start to drown out the cheers. He says that he senses that there might be some Rock fans in the crowd tonight. He says there’s some folks riding with him and some riding with Rocky. Cena says the fans have 20 days left to pick a side and since he’s sitting in a house divided tonight he has a message for the Rock fans. He says it’s the same message he gave to the Rock a few weeks ago. He points to a sign that says “our time is now” and repeats the line, “your time is up, our time is now.” He says that he knows that’s a bitter pill for the Rock fans to swallow. He says 2013 has been a tidal wave of momentum for himself starting at Royal Rumble. He says for the fans that have stuck by him and not given up on him, he won’t make the same mistake that he did last year. He says that he is focused and ready for WrestleMania as he points to the big WrestleMania logo hanging.

The Primetime Players music hits and they come out with Titus wearing a big afro and coveralls. Titus says Cena isn’t the only one ready for WrestleMania because they’re also ready for it as well. Titus says that he isn’t Titus O’Neal, he’s Titus’ uncle Rufus “Pancake” Patterson. Darren Young tells Titus to “tell ‘em why they call you pancake” and Titus says he’s called pancake because he “flattens fools.” Cena makes some jokes about pancakes and then says that he’s in luck because they’re in the steel city tonight, known for their “storied” NFL franchise the Steelers and NHL franchise the Penguin (cheap pop), but they have some great doctors in Pittsburgh too that deal with split personality disorder so they can get them the medicine they need. Titus says the only medication the WWE universe needs is the Primetime Players and Young says that they put the “E in the WWE entertainment” and Cena makes fun of him saying that would mean it’s WWEE if they put the E in “WWE Entertainment.” Titus and Young start doing the millions of dollars dance and then Titus acts like he hurt his hip.

Cena laughs and the fans start booing and says they make him laugh but their timing is just off. Cena says maybe he’ll see them at WrestleMania but Titus says that is the problem because the fans don’t want to see Cena at Mania. He says they want to see PTP at Mania. He says they can sell t-shirts and wash rags at Mania and people say that Young looks like John Cena. Young mocks Cena by doing the “you can’t see me” pose and then fakes throwing up. Titus says that Cena is on the front of Fruity Pebbles boxes so Young should be on the front of Cocoa Pebbles called Primetime Pebbles. He says that he would have no problem coming down there and tearing Cena apart himself but his gout is flaring up on him. He says his nephew Darren has no problem taking the opportunity to tear him from limb to limb. Young says after he’s done with Cena tonight he’ll be sitting on the ramp crying and weeping just like last year’s WrestleMania. Cena isn’t joking anymore. He asks if this is what all this about and asks if they think they’re ready for WrestleMania. Cena tells Young to step into the ring with him and he’ll show him what it means to be ready for the Main Event at Mania.

John Cena vs. Darren Young w/Titus O’Neil

Young jumps in the ring followed by a referee and then Cena goes right after Young with a series of right hands. Cena whips Young into the corner and connects with a Bulldog! Cena immediately goes for the STFU but Young pulls him out to the floor. A big dueling “Let’s Go Cena-Cena Sucks” chant erupts as we go to a break.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Back from the break Cena has Young down on the mat and then he connects with a series of Shoulder Blocks as Young gets to his feet. Cena hits the Protoplex and then the 5-Knuckle Shuffle. Cena hits the AA as he points up to the Mania sign! 1…2…3!

Winner: Cena via pinfall (AA)

Cena points back at the WrestleMania sign after the match as he plays to the crowd. Lawler says this is Cena sending a message to The Rock.

Lawler & Cole talk about Undertaker/Punk at ringside and Punk stealing the urn. Undertaker will be on Raw live tonight. Cole then says there is a “who is the king of the jungle” brewing in WWE right now between Ryback & Mark Henry. Footage of the Henry-Ryback match from Smackdown is shown which ended in The Shield jumping Ryback. Cole mentions that Ryback will team with Sheamus & Orton at Mania to face The Shield. After The Shield left the match Henry returned to the ring and laid Ryback out with several Worlds’ Strongest Slams. That’s what he does!

Ryback is walking backstage and he will be in action next.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Ryback vs. David Otunga

Otunga doesn’t get a TV entrance, that’s not a good sign for his immediate future. Ryback lifts Otunga up in the air and slams him into the corner and lights him up with chops. Ryback clubs the back of Otunga after every chop and then sets up for a splash, but Otunga gets his foot up. Otunga hits another kick to the head followed by a kick to the gut. Otunga bounces off the ropes but eats the Meat Hook Clothesline followed by a Spinning Sidewalk Slam! Ryback follows up with a Spinebuster! The crowd is completely dead until he sets up for the Meat Hook again and they start chanting “Feed me more!” Ryback hits the Meat Hook followed by the Shell Shock for the pin!

Winner: Ryback via pinfall (Shell Shock)

After the match Ryback grabs a microphone and says that at Mania he, Sheamus, & Orton are going to tear The Shield apart. He says that on his way to WrestleMania he and Mark Henry will cross again and when that time comes everyone knows it will be feeding time. Ryback then starts a “feed me more” chant but Mark Henry’s music hits and the World’s Strongest Man starts to walk out. Vickie Guerrero interrupts them along with Teddy Long. Long tells Henry to not even think about taking another step towards the ring, at least not now. Vickie says that she is taking Ryback out of WrestleMania’s 6-Man Tag Team Match. At WrestleMania he will face Henry one-on-one! Ryback gets fired up and then Henry points up to the WrestleMania sign as a “feed me more” chant starts.

Ryback then grabs Otunga and then he yells “this is you” and hit’s another Shell Shock.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Cole and Lawler plug Tout, wanting fans to send in Tout’s about what they want the stipulation for Lesnar/HHH to be.

A vignette for Fandango airs and it says that he debuts next.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Fandango makes his way out. They have a big setup for him with tassels hanging down from a set or something. Apparently Fandango didn’t have a problem with the way Josh Matthews said his name this week.

Some type of neon light appears above the ring or something that is Fandango’s logo. He had a pretty elaborate entrance. Footage of what happened between Khali & Fandango on Smackdown is shown with Fandango trying to get Khali to correctly pronounce his name. Fandango grabs a microphone and says it’s obvious that Great Khali is far too stupid to pronounce his name correctly so he was thinking they could let the beautiful Natalya give it a try. He tells her not to be afraid of all of his masculinity and then she says, “fan…DANG…go get him Khali!” Khali chases (well kind of) after Fandango and he bails out of the ring. Fandango decides he doesn’t feel like wrestling tonight either so he leaves and says tonight was the night where Khali almost got to see the debut of Fandango. A “you can’t wrestle” chant starts LOUDLY.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

R-Truth vs. Damien Sandow

Sandow quotes poet Henry David Thoreau saying, “rather than love, money, or fame give me truth.” He tells the fans to silence and then says that Thoreau is rolling over in his grave right now with the man in the ring right now calling himself R-Truth. He says with the way he’s dressed right now, the R obviously stands for repugnant. R-Truth says Thoreau was quite a poet but he has a little poetry of his own. Truth says, “yo’ beard is weird and you talk a lot/I got 4 sweet words for you, you gone get got!” Sandow kicks Truth and then whips him into the ropes and connects with a knee to the gut followed by a 2nd one. Sandow then hit’s a Snapmare Takeover followed by a Knee Drop for a nearfall. Sandow then slams his knee into Truth’s back and locks in a Rear Chinlock. Truth fights up to his feet and breaks the hold with body shots. Truth then bounces off the ropes and hits a Sunset Flip for a one count before Sandow kicked him in the head. Sandow gets back to his feet and clotheslines Truth and then lays into him with punches and kicks. Truth then hit’s a Snap Suplex for another nearfall and then goes back to the chinlock. Truth fights back up and breaks the hold with body shots. Truth tries to whip Sandow into the ropes but Sandow counters with a knee to the gut and then hits a series of Knee Strikes. Sandow follows up with a Russian Legsweep and then the Elbow of Disdain. 1…2…NO Truth kicks out! Sandow whips Truth into the ropes again but this time Truth holds onto them so Sandow charges at him only to eat a back elbow from R-Truth. Truth then hits a clothesline followed by another one and then a series of big right hands. Truth attempts to whip Sandow into the ropes but he reverses it only for Truth to catch him with a Spinning Headscissors Takeover! Truth follows up with a Back Heel Kick and then a kick to the gut. Truth hit’s the Lie Detector but before Truth can pin him Sandow rolls out of the ring. Sandow walks up the ramp and bails on the match. The referee counts Sandow out as R-Truth looks on.

Winner: Truth via COUNTOUT

Cody Rhodes looks on in the back with the Bella Twins. Kaitlyn walks up and says she doesn’t know what all this is but she tells Cody that she has something going on later so they can’t hang out. The Bellas tell her that no one cares but Kaitlyn says as far as she’s concerned they can have that mustache and Cody can have the Bellas mustaches.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

A replay of Kane beating Punk last week and Punk attacking Kane with the urn is shown.

The gong hits and The Undertaker slowly makes his way down to the ring. Undertaker says that last week Punk sealed his own fate when he decided to make this thing personal. He says there is no escaping what will happen to him at WrestleMania. Taker says he is going to hurt Punk bad and he has one chance to save his own soul. He says he wants the urn back and then drops the microphone, but before he can leave the ring someone doing a Paul Bearer impression can be heard over the speakers. As the video on the Titantron shows the urn, CM Punk is behind it doing the Bearer impression.

Punk says there is no disrespect intended and that he never could hit the high notes. Punk says “Paul” wants Taker to know something, that his death wasn’t just a personal loss. He says it was a professional loss as well and then Punk acts like something inside the urn is talking to him. Punk says Paul also wants him to know that if Undertaker gets DQ’d or counted out at Mania it’s still a loss. Punk says there is no doubt that Taker is better than all the other superstars at Mania and you can also say that at Mania Taker is the best in the world, but he’s never faced anyone like Punk at Mania either because he’s the best in the world 365 days a year. Punk nonchalantly tosses the urn back and forth between his hands as he talks. He says that Undertaker has powers unmatched by anyone in the WWE and he answers to a higher calling. Punk says he doesn’t have powers and doesn’t answer to a higher power. Punk says he IS a higher power and he won’t tell Taker that he was born to beat the streak or it was his destiny. He says that he is the one man in the world that can shoulder the burden it takes to snap the streak because he is willing to walk through hell and endure whatever pain Taker sees fit to inflict on him. Punk says he will beat the streak and he is the one that is going to end the Undertaker’s undefeated streak and he is the one in 20-1. Punk then drops the urn and screams “oh sh*t!” (censors caught it) as Undertaker looks like his head is about to explode. Punk says “again… no disrespect intended” and continues to toss the urn up in the air. Undertaker looks on and just stares up at the Titantron.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

Footage of what Punk said moments ago is shown.

Primo & Epic are in the ring with Rosa.

DB tries fighting out of the corner with elbows and right hands to both Epico & Primo. DB then slides through the legs of Primo but Primo catches his foot and holds on. DB rolls forward sending Primo towards Team Hell No’s corner and then he ducks a clothesline from Primo and tags Kane in! Kane is a house afire as he comes in the ring and lays into Primo with right hands and clotheslines. Kane whips Primo into the ropes and lifts him high into the lights with a backdrop. Primo retreats to the corner and Kane comes crashing in with a Running Clothesline. Kane then whips Primo into the opposite corner and charges again but this time Primo gets his boot up. Primo charges at Kane but gets caught with a Sidewalk Slam! Kane then knocks Epico off the apron and climbs up top! Kane dives off with the Flying Clothesline! Kane sets up for the Chokeslam but then AJ’s music hits and she comes bouncing down to the ring for some reason. She skips around the ring and the distraction allowed Primo to roll Kane up! 1…2…NO Kane kicks out and Primo tags Epico in! Kane grabs Primo, not realizing that he was tagged out, and Epico dives off the top trying to take advantage of that! Kane catches Epico as well and then shoves Primo to the side and DB comes flying in with a dropkick that sends Primo to the floor! Kane Chokeslams Epico for the pin!

Winners: Team Hell No via pinfall (Chokeslam)

AJ stares at Team Hell No and then when DB starts bitching at her she smiles and skips away.

In the back Y2J says that he has held the IC Title more than any other superstar, ever and tonight he has a chance to make it 10 times. He says that WrestleMania is the night that everyone wants to make an impact and then Fandango walks up and interrupts him. Y2J asks him if he has something to say and then says he didn’t catch his name. Fandango repeats his name twice but Y2J says “Fandumbo…Fandunghole…Fandjango” and several other variations that pisses Fandango off. Fandango says that was very funny but he WILL learn to pronounce his name properly and then walks away. Y2J tells him not to leave yet because he hasn’t gotten his movie tickets yet.

—-COMMERCIAL BREAK—-

A table is set up in the ring. After Triple-H comes out to the ring Paul Heyman walks out with a bunch of security guards with him. HHH says that he thought Lesnar would be the type of guy that would want to come out himself and look him in the eye after he split Lesnar up. Heyman asks HHH if he’s really questioning if Lesnar is afraid of him because Lesnar is fearless. Heyman says that he is the one is afraid because he’s afraid that HHH doesn’t realize the predicament that he is in. He says that Choice A is that he disappoint all the fans by taking the HHH/Lesnar match or Choice B he has to sign the contract without knowing what the stipulation will be. Heyman says that he thinks HHH doesn’t know what to do and that he is very frustrated so he doesn’t want HHH to take his frustration out on him so that’s why he brought security with him. Heyman shows HHH the contract that Lesnar has already signed and he says that the only way he will tell HHH what the stipulation is if HHH signs it first. HHH says that he forgot one part, that part is HHH signs the agreement, Heyman tells him the stipulation, and he still kicks the crap out of Lesnar at Mania.

Heyman says that he wants to take a moment to really enjoy this and that he and Lesnar have taken the time to watch a piece of footage over and over lately. Heyman shows a video of what happened 3 weeks ago when HHH and Lesnar brawled. They show the footage after Lesnar is busted open in black and white for some stupid reason. I guess they think blood isn’t visible if its black instead of red. Heyman laughs and asks HHH how you top that, and being the visionary he is he KNOWS how to top that. Heyman mockingly suggests a Blindfold Match but then says that’s not it because Lesnar wants HHH to see the man that beats the hell out of him. Heyman then suggests HHH’s arms and legs be shackled for the match but he says that HHH would have all the excuses for why he gets beats and Lesnar doesn’t want that. Heyman says that Lesnar told Heyman he could pick the stipulations and he wants it to be VERY personal. Heyman says that the winner of the match at Mania gets Stephanie! He says he knows that wouldn’t work because the only fair way would be if the LOSER got Stephanie in that situation. HHH losses it and decks Heyman!

HHH then beats the hell out of the security guards until there is one left and he bails on Heyman leaving Heyman all alone. HHH grabs Heyman by his ponytail and slams him into the table. HHH then rips open Heyman’s shirt and slaps his chest as Heyman screams for Lesnar. HHH says since he knows Brock won’t come out until he signs the contract and he has a captive audience right now he’s going to take his time and enjoy this beating. Heyman has a small cut on his forehead. HHH slaps Heyman repeatedly and slams him into the table as Heyman screams for Brock. HHH rips off Heyman’s shirt and slaps him repeatedly and then starts choking him. HHH then grabs the contract and signs it on top of Heyman. He then slams the pin into the clipboard on top of Heyman and tells him to call his monster. HHH kicks Heyman out of the ring and then actually throws one of the chairs on top of him. Lesnar’s music hits!

Brock comes charging out slamming a chair into the floor. Brock starts walking to the ring but then HHH shoves the table over and reveals that there was a sledgehammer under it! Heyman begs Lensar not to get in the ring and then Lesnar smiles and backs away. Lesnar decides to go after HHH anyway but Heyman stops him again and says that they won this round. Brock points up at the WrestleMania logo and backs away again. Heyman stops at the top of the entrance and gets another microphone. He says that he isn’t a tough guy but that beating was worth it to get HHH to sign the contract. Heyman announces at Mania that it will be Brock Lesnar vs. Brock Lesnar…NO COUNTOUT…NO DQ…NO REFEREE STOPPAGE…NO HOLDS BARRED! Heyman then says that there is another added stipulation…and that is that HHH’s career is on the line! If he loses he must retire! Lesnar holds up the contract and smiles at HHH as Heyman says that it’s “game over.”
