“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

The show kicks off with the entire WWE locker room standing at the top of the stage. Michael Cole said they’re out there because The Authority has a critical announcement to make. The WWE World Heavyweight Championship is seen hanging above the ring.

Triple H’s music hits, and he makes his way to the ring with his wife, Stephanie McMahon. Triple H stares at John Cena before making his way down to the ring. A replay is shown of Dr. Joseph Maroon stating that Daniel Bryan would not be cleared to compete at WWE Money in the Bank. The Authority then stripped him of the championship in absentia and put the vacant title up for grabs in a ladder match. Stephanie welcomes everyone to Monday Night RAW, and she gets a mix of cheers and boos. She says all the superstars and divas are out for a meeting because they want them to know that they care. They can understand how disconcerting it is to not have a WWE World Heavyweight Champion at the moment. Triple H says seven days a week, fifty-two weeks a year, WWE superstars lay it all on the line to prove that they are the best, and they do that by receiving the honor of being called the WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Stephanie says when you’re the champion you’re immortalized. Take, for example, her husband, the greatest of all time, a thirteen-time WWE Champion. The WWE is only as strong as their champion, which is why it is so disappointing that they’ve all been represented by a B+ player like Daniel Bryan. The crowd boos before starting a “YES!” chant. Stephanie then says, “Yes, it’s true, he is a B+ player – you’re right.” Triple H then says Bryan has no heart. His selfishness brought about his refusal to defend his championship. That refusal denies them the opportunity they deserve. They deserve better than that, as do the WWE Universe.

Triple H says they’re really excited because standing on the stage may very well be the next WWE World Heavyweight Champion. Stephanie says The Authority is all about opportunity. She wonders who will be the next to qualify for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match. Who will join Randy Orton, Cesaro, Alberto Del Rio, Sheamus, and Bray Wyatt? We’ll find out tonight as they’ll all compete in a battle royal. The crowd erupts with cheers.

Triple H says not everyone will get to compete in the battle royal tonight because certain superstars have refused to evolve and comply to authority. Those superstars who will not be in the battle royal will be Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. John Cena also will not be in, and Cena looks stunned before laughing. Triple H says he’ll give John Cena the opportunity to compete. He knows how much Cena loves to help people, like a few weeks ago when he wanted to help Daniel Bryan and The Shield. Now he can help them. Just a short time ago, his beautiful wife Stephanie promised that there would be a particular type of match. Due to Daniel Bryan not being able to compete, they haven’t been able to give that match. They hate to lie, so Cena is going to help them out. Cena will get the opportunity to enter the WWE World Heavyweight Championship Ladder Match. All he has to do is win a Stretcher Match, and it just happens to be against Kane! Kane’s music plays as an ambulance backs into the arena. EMTs then unload a stretcher and wheel it down to ringside.

The commentators talk about what just happened. Kevin Hart will be the guest star of Monday Night RAW. He’ll be out later tonight. Sheamus will also take on Bray Wyatt later tonight. Coming up next, we’ll see Dolph Ziggler take on Seth Rollins.

Kane’s pyro explodes, and he walks out to the stage smiling as he looks at the ambulance.

-Commercial Break-

A ladder is set up in the ring directly underneath the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, which is suspended above the ring. The commentators then talk about how WWE Money in the Bank is available on the WWE Network.

The Wyatt Family makes their way to the ring. It was announced over the weekend that Luke Harper and Erick Rowan would be taking on The Usos for the WWE Tag Team Championships at WWE Money in the Bank.

Bray Wyatt is in the ring, and he laughs before saying you don’t have anything in this world if you don’t have power. Without power, we’d just be tiny little mice in the jungle running for our lives from tigers. Power can be so addicting. You need power. You crave it. Wyatt thinks power will be the downfall of all mankind as we know it. After all, a powerful man is to be respected, but a weak man is less valuable than the dirt that stains his clothes. Power and influence is his game, man. As long as he’s living right here and now with the WWE Universe, that championship right there represents all the power he could ever need. Wyatt says he wants them to do something for him. Wyatt tells them to look at his brothers. Judge them as you will, but know that every label this society has views them as outcasts, worthless as dirt. The world works in mysterious ways because at Money in the Bank, his brothers will fight and destroy the Usos, destroying any power they ever had. Power and influence – at Money in the Bank, he will stand at the top of this ladder, and he will change the world as it is forever. Hanging above this ladder is his absolution. Hanging above this ladder is his glory. Hanging above this ladder is the change they all have been praying for. The crowd cheers enthusiastically. All he has to do is reach up and take it. When he does, and he will, he will truly be able to say that he has the whole world in his hands. Wyatt then sings the song, and the arena loudly sings along with him. Wyatt then laughs as the crowd cheers him.

Sheamus then says it’s enough talking because it’s time to fight, fella!

For the first time ever, the WWE World Heavyweight Championship will be decided in a ladder match with a new champion being guaranteed. Could you imaging what the WWE Universe would be like if Bray Wyatt would become the champion? How about if Randy Orton wins and The Authority realizes they truly are omnipotent. Then there’s Alberto Del Rio and Sheamus. Heyman hopes it isn’t Sheamus. Only one man has a strategist in his corner whose client defeated the streak. That wasn’t a prediction – it was a spoiler. Seth Rollins and Randy Orton then attack John Cena! They send him into the ring, and Rollins clotheslines him down. Orton then hits Cena with an RKO. Rollins leaves the ring, and he grabs a steel chair. Dean Ambrose then runs down and takes Rollins down. Ambrose then clotheslines Orton out of the ring followed by Rollins. Kane then runs into the ring and Chokeslams Ambrose down. Cena then gets in the ring and sends Kane over the top rope. Cena picks up the steel steps, and he throws them over the top rope into Kane’s face like he did to Bray Wyatt at WWE Payback! The steps have a noticeable dent in it. Cena lifts Kane onto the stretcher and begins to wheel it up the ramp. Kane sits up shortly before getting to the finish line, and he grabs Cena by the throat. Cena gets out of a Chokeslam, and he gives Kane an Attitude Adjustment onto the stretcher. Cena then rolls it over the finish line for the win.
