“Then. Now. Forever.” The WWE video leads us into the show.

The show starts with a video recapping what happened last week. Mr. McMahon made his return and stipulated that if Team Authority loses at Survivor Series, then The Authority will no longer be in power. Later in the night, Randy Orton, who had been having problems with Seth Rollins for a few weeks, was scheduled to face him in the main event. Rollins beat Orton with a roll up. Orton refused to put the issue behind him and attacked Rollins. The Authority then beat up Orton. Rollins finished him off with a Curb Stomp on the steel steps.

John Cena addresses his Survivor Series team

John Cena comes out to a tremendously loud negative reaction. Cena plays to the crowd and bows to them. Cena stands in the middle of the ring and thanks the crowd for remixing his song (they were singing “John Cena sucks” to his theme song). It’s obvious they’re in an exciting and hostile environment. Cena says he can’t even field a team for the match at Survivor Series. Mr. McMahon said this Survivor Series would be the most epic in history. It’s not just Team Authority versus Team Cena. If Team Authority loses, they’re out of power. The problem is The Authority doesn’t want him to have a team. They know their jobs are in jeopardy. They’re trying to scare everyone backstage to think it’s a death sentence to join his team. Zack Ryder sent out one tweet saying he wanted to join Team Cena, and Ryder is now having surgery and out six months. Randy Orton tried to make a stand, so The Authority put him out of commission.

Cena says he does have two people that are sick of taking The Authority’s crap. They’ve heard for so long that they’re not what The Authority is looking for. The first member on his team is Jack Swagger, who was immediately put in a match against Seth Rollins for tonight. The second person on his team has a large mouth and a big kick. He is the Intercontinental Champion, Dolph Ziggler. Ziggler’s name gets a great reaction from the crowd, and they chant, “We want Ziggler.” Cena says if they were running the show, they’d get Ziggler. However, Triple H is keeping him from the crowd. The Authority has scared everyone else off. There is one man who isn’t afraid of anyone. This man came back two weeks ago and has been on a tear. This man is his opponent for the evening. A big “Feed me more” chant breaks out. The Authority has held Ryback back, so maybe he’ll talk some business and join Team Cena.

Ryback’s music hits, and he comes out to a great reception. Ryback stands in the middle of the ring, and the crowd chants his catchphrase. Ryback simply says, “The Big Guy is back” before The Authority’s music hits. Triple H, Stephanie McMahon, Seth Rollins, Kane, Joey Mercury, and Jamie Noble make their way out to the stage. They then turn, and Mark Henry walks out to the stage. It’s insinuated that he has joined Team Authority. The Authority then gets in the ring. A loud, “Where’s our Network” chant breaks out. Stephanie says the people know exactly who to ask the right questions to. They’re accustomed to The Authority. They’re ruled by a monarchy. Their national anthem is “God Save the Queen,” which she’s thinking about using for her theme song. Triple H says everything is on the line at Survivor Series. Everything is on the line for The Authority, which means Cena can bet his ass that everything is on the line for everyone in WWE. Cena thinks he’s trying to scare people off from being on his team, and he’s damn right. Triple H says he’ll put the fear of god in everyone backstage because as far as they’re concerned, he is god. Everything is on the line: careers and livelihoods. The stakes have been raised, and that means the game has changed. The question is who has the guts to play the game when all the chips are on the table. Who will side with Team Cena knowing that it is career suicide, knowing it’s the worst decision they could ever possibly make? Who will side with Team Authority knowing that while they may lose a battle, they’ve proven that at the end of the day, The Authority always wins?

Triple H says Cena has two people on his team so far. Triple H chuckles when he says Jack Swagger is on the team before asking Rollins if he can handle that. The other is Dolph Ziggler. Triple H says, “You can cheer for him all you want, but good lord, Dolph Ziggler.” Triple H calls him a tiny guy who probably won’t even make it to Survivor Series. Cena says Triple H said the same thing about Daniel Bryan, but he beat his ass at WrestleMania. A huge “YES!” chant breaks out. Triple H asks where Captain B+ is today. He’s sitting at home on the shelf. That’s what will happen to Ziggler tonight as he steps into the ring with the World’s Strongest Man.

Stephanie says Cena is one of the most inspirational speakers she’s ever heard, but all his speeches are just propaganda. Harsh reality is better than false hope. The reality is joining Team Authority is best for business. For example, if Ryback joins Team Authority, imagine how many more main events he’ll be in. Like it or not, The Authority does make or break careers. Speaking of careers, The Authority’s careers are on the line, which is why they’re putting together the biggest and most dominant team in Survivor Series history. That’s why they have their eyes on the Big Guy. Ryback has the potential to be the biggest monster the WWE has ever seen. Triple H asks what you give the monster with an insatiable appetite. You give him more opportunities, more main events, more championship opportunities, and more of anything he wants. Ryback smiles at Triple H.

Cena says this is why these two “wankers” should be out of a job. They make or break careers, but they do so for their own protection. His team will take the field in two weeks. It doesn’t matter if it’s five guys or he’s by himself. It doesn’t matter if he gets his ass kicked because he’ll do it as a man and not a sell out. Stephanie says he seems a little defensive. Cena says he won’t beg Ryback to do anything. Cena warns him to look at the track record of The Authority. If he messes up one time, The Authority will end him. If Ryback is as good as he says, the crowd will decide his fate. The crowd chants, “Feed me more” toward Ryback.

Ryback looks at The Authority and says he isn’t afraid of them. Ryback then says he also doesn’t see John Cena’s name on the bottom of his paycheck. Ryback then turns around and gives Cena a spinebuster. Stephanie tries to start a vindictive “YES!” chant, but the crowd chants, “NO!” Ryback walks off without The Authority as the crowd sounds absolutely deflated.

Coming up next, Seth Rollins will face Jack Swagger.

Wyatt appeared behind him and warned him to run before disappearing for good.

Dean Ambrose is seen backstage saying he’s made a lot more enemies than friends in his career. Ambrose has a rap sheet a mile long in this business. If you want to call him a sinner, then he’s a sinner. He’s done a lot of dirty, despicable things to a lot of people, but he won’t apologize for any of them because he’s not trying to be anyone’s hero. If you want to dig up old skeletons, it doesn’t matter. He fights things a lot scarier than Bray Wyatt. Ambrose doesn’t hide from any of it. The Authority couldn’t put him out of his misery, so Wyatt sure as hell can’t. Ambrose won’t give him the satisfaction. When he goes down, he will self-destruct gloriously. This is why he wears this title. It’s a reminder of Mother Russia’s superiority over the United States. Speaking of superiority, if it wasn’t for Russia’s support in assisting Britain’s military, they’d all be speaking German right now. The crowd boos that.

One of the men approaches the microphone and says the Kremlin is overjoyed with their heroic progress in America and the United Kingdom. President Putin couldn’t be more proud. Putin’s image is shown on the screen. Putin asked the man to read a proclamation from him. “My comrades. Congratulations to you both.
