We see video highlighting what went down at this past Sunday’s Summerslam PPV.

The music of Randy Orton hits as he makes his way to the ring. Orton has a mic and says that just because you’ve won the battle, doesn’t mean you’ve won the war. One match does not define me and one match does not define Roman Reigns. I’ve been called the Legend Killer, the Apex Predator and the Viper, but the one thing that I have never been called is a loser. All this has done for me is make me that much more focused and when I’m focused, things like this tend to happen.

We see video from RAW last month when Orton put Reigns through the announce table with a RKO.

Orton says that, ladies and gentlemen, is the Legend Killer, that is the Viper, that is the Apex Predator and Roman Reigns will get what he deserves, Roman Reigns will get what he has coming to him. Hell, maybe even tonight. But, first things first, see I have a match with R-V-D and Rob, I am sorry man, but you are nothing more to me tonight than collateral damage. What I do to in this ring will serve as a warning to everyone in the back and everyone of the WWE Universe that if you stand in my way, if you step in my way, I will put you away because I’m Randy Orton, third generation, 12-time World Champion and the greatest Superstar in this industry and I deserve your respect. But now that I have my focus back, I will simply take it from you.

The music of Seth Rollins hits as he makes his way to the ring for our opening match. He & Orton meet in the rampway and shake hands as Orton leaves.

But, in true patriotic fashion, I’m willing to pick up the pieces of your failure and become the new American Sweetheart. I know things seem bleak right now, but a great American once said “There is nothing to fear but fear itself.” And all we have to do is look fear right in the face and say “I BO-LIEVE!”

Don’t get me wrong, I know exactly what Orton & the Authority are capable of and now that I’ve seen what Seth Rollins & Kane did to my boy, Dean Ambrose, I promise you this, we’re gonna have our revenge. I also saw what Orton did to RVD, so the Authority thinks they have everything under control now. But, Orton promised me before Summerslam that he was gonna methodically decimate me. So, I guess he was methodically decimating me up until the point that I speared his ass and I beat him. So, if the Legend Killer wants me to finish what we started at Summerslam, that’s fine by me, because someone needs to kill the Legend of Randy Orton and that someone is me. Believe That!
