WWE SmackDown Ratings: Viewership sees an increase, best ratings since November

WWE SmackDown Ratings for January 17

The SmackDown Ratings are in for January 17, 2020.

This week’s edition, which took place in Greensboro, NC drew an average of 2.580 million viewers on Friday night according to a Fast Nationals report by showbuzzdaily.com.

This is up from last week’s show that averaged 2.503 million viewers.  

If this rating holds, then SmackDown would be up three percent from last week with the best number since the Survivor Series go-home show on November 22, 2019 that had an average of 2.601 million viewers.

In addition, this would also be the fourth best number for SmackDown since it moved to FOX last October and now airing on Friday night’s.

In the 18-49 demographic SmackDown came in at number 1 for the night.

The actual ratings for WWE Friday Night SmackDown are scheduled to be released this coming Monday.  We will provide an update if there is a change to Friday’s preliminary ratings.

Hourly Breakdowns and Demographics for WWE SmackDown

Hour 1: 2.616 (down from 2.679 million viewers last week)

Hour 2: 2.544 (up from 2.326 million viewers last week)

This week’s SmackDown, featuring a Tables Match between Roman Reigns and Robert Roode, averaged a 0.80 rating among adults 18-49. This is slightly up from last week’s 0.75 rating.
