AEW reportedly allows fans not tested for COVID-19 into Daily’s Place

Some fans not tested for COVID-19

According to a new report by Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet, All Elite Wrestling allowed fans to attend last night’s taping of Dynamite that were not tested for COVID-19.

Fans that attended received a private invite to attend the taping. About 60 people who were non-crew members attended. To enter Daily’s Place, they were required to wear masks even as they walked through the outside gates. They had to sign waivers acknowledging they had not been exposed to COVID-19, but they were not tested for the virus like talent and crew were. Only their temperatures were taken.

Sources interviewed for the report said the people invited were family and friends of local Daily’s Place and Jaguars sponsors. They were seated in the upper bowl and not tested because there is no chance of passing the virus to talent and crew from that distance. Anyone seated in the lower bowl were tested for COVID-19.

AEW continues to adhere to the guidelines laid out by the Centers for Disease Control and have spaced people out beyond their guidelines so that the tested people won’t be affected by those not tested.
