Wade Barrett announced on Twitter that he would be returning to commentate on NXT for the third straight week.

It was reported earlier this week that Barrett was in the process of negotiating a full-time return to WWE as a commentator. The past two episodes of NXT that he commentated alongside Beth Phoenix and Vic Joseph were considered a trial run.
On Monday, NXT’s main play-by-play commentator Mauro Ranallo was announced as “mutually and amicably” parting ways with WWE.
Bennett last appeared for WWE as a performer in 2016. Since that time he has worked on his acting career. In December 2019, he was made a commentator for NWA Powerrr.
NXT will air on Tuesday next week due to the NHL Playoffs taking place in its normal time slot. We will have full coverage beginning at 8 p.m. Eastern/7 Central.
