Below are some notes and the media Full Gear Scrum with Tony Khan, Bryan Danielson, CM Punk, Dante Martin, Jay Lethal and New AEW World Champion “Hangman” Adam Page.

-Jay Lethal had just met Tony Khan Saturday and was surprised at the reaction he got. He will not be appearing at the ROH Final Battle PPV.

-Tony Khan had thought up the idea for AEW in the hotel across the street from Target Center while visiting for a friend’s wedding

-The plan for who would become the AEW World Champion has remained the same since day one.  The four people who have held it to date has been the plan the company began.

-Tony Khan said AEW is looking to do more with DC Comics next year.

-“Hangman” Adam Page said that his story had a lot of twists and turns over the last two years, and plans changed constantly with COVID-19 and other obstacles the company has had.

-Dante Martin was blown away at how much the Minneapolis crowd loved him.  He noted his brother is healing well. However, there is no timetable on his return.

-Lance Archer was at the show. He had twisted his neck a few weeks ago and has been checked out a few times to make sure he’s healing.

-Tony Khan has not talked to Jon Moxley directly. He has only spoken to his wife Renee. Paquette. She said Moxley is doing the work and getting better.

-AEW wants to go to Canada and England when they are able and when it makes sense.  COVID-19 has complicated things. He also said they are on a waiting list.

-AEW is looking to open up its touring now to new markers, now that they have finished up on their make good dates that were postponed due to COVID-19.

-AEW is working directly with New Japan and Tony Khan said he speaks with NJPW Booker Gedo about future plans.
