Jordynne Grace refutes reports she is leaving IMPACT for AEW

A false report that was apparently making the rounds on Thursday, indicated that current IMPACT Wrestling Knockout Champion Jordynne Grace would be leaving IMPACT for AEW. The story implied that Grace would be going to AEW because AEW’s music producer Mikey Rukus had produced a theme song for her.

Fightful Select reached out to Grace for comment, in which Grace said Rukus produceed theme songs for her before AEW existed. Grace signed a new multi-year deal with IMPACT back in May of 2021. She made her official debut with the company on November 8, 2018.

Grace won the first-ever Queen of the Mountain Match at the Slammiversay PPV back on June 19, where she defeated Deonna Purrazzo, Chelsea Green, the returning Mia Yim and Tasha Steelz. Grace is set to defend the Knockouts title against Steelz at the IMPACT Plus special Against All Odds at Center Stage in Atlanta on Friday, July 1.

Grace is married to current Ring of Honor World Champion Jonathan Gresham.

Wrestleview never reported that Grace was leaving IMPACT for AEW.
