TNA iMPACT!
Orlando, Florida (Impact Zone)
December 17, 2009
Commentators: Mike Tenay & Taz
Report by: Josh Boutwell of WrestleView.com

The show starts out with clips of the Jarrett-Foley drama from last week along with clips of AJ’s mystery attacker and the AJ-Daniels feud. Also, clips of last week’s awful Impact were shown followed by the usual Impact intro.

Tenay says tonight will be Jarrett’s return to the Impact Zone and then we cut to footage from earlier when Mick Foley arrived to the arena. JB tries to talk Foley out of doing something but he shoves JB away and then walks in on Kevin Nash interview inside of an empty Impact Zone and blasts Nash in the head! Foley beats Nash down and screams at him asking Nash if he thinks it’s a joke. Nash is able to shove Foley off but Foley comes back at him throwing Nash into the empty seats. Foley grabs a chair and is about to hit Nash with it until World Elite run out and pull Foley off. They hold Foley as Nash decks him with a right hand. Finally security runs out to separate them as Nash screams ?you?re done!? at Foley. Apparently so bad things went down when Foley went to ?meet? Hogan in the meeting Nash set up.

The clips from last week between Jarrett and Foley are recapped.

In the back Lauren is with Roxxi and she says tonight is the official return of TNA’s original ?Hardcore Knockout.? I guess things really did fall through with her and AAA. Roxxi says she’s happy to be back and talks about wrestling in Mexico (I think she was on like 3 shows down there, ha) and she says she’s been in some fitness competitions too. Lauren says Roxxi is facing ODB in a non-title match tonight. Roxxi says ODB is almost as unique as her but tonight she will bring everything she has.

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

Back from commercials Tenay reveals we?re having a big 10-Man Tag Team Match tonight that will pit Scott Steiner, Raven, Stevie, & The Brits against AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Lashley, Abyss, & the returning Tomko!

In the back JB is with Kurt Angle and he asks him how he feels having to be in the 10-Man Tag tonight with the match against Wolfe only 3 days away. Angle says he feels great and wants TNA to throw everything they have at him. He says that’s the only way he?ll be back on top and reminds us that he hasn?t lost since September. Angle says his job won?t be done until he gets the TNA Title back and then he says Wolfe is probably one of the best 2 or 3 wrestlers in TNA but if he thinks he’s going to blemish Angle’s record this Sunday then he’s nuts. JB asks Angle about Jarrett being here tonight and he just stares at JB and turns around without saying anything.

A vignette hyping up Tara and ODB for this Sunday is shown.

Non-Title Match
Roxxi vs. ODB

This is Roxxi’s first show in TNA since she was involved in the TNA Knockouts Tag Titles Tournament this past summer. Roxxi is looking pretty damn good, though. Roxxi and ODB are two of the original knockouts when the division first started (let’s not forget Roxxi’s old ?Voodoo Queen? gimmick). ODB offers Roxxi her flask and then kicks Roxxi in the gut. ODB chops at Roxxi and then whips her into the corner and charges. Roxxi moves and then hits a Release Fallaway Slam and then whips her into the corner. Roxxi hits a Running Hip Attack followed by a Front Kick for a nearfall. Roxxi whips ODB into the ropes and goes for another Running Front Kick, but ODB avoids it and Roxxi gets her leg caught up in the ropes. ODB grabs Roxxi by the hair and slams her backwards to the mat and then puts the boots to her. ODB throws Roxxi into the corner and hits a Corner Splash and then does the Bronco Buster in the corner. ODB covers Roxxi for a nearfall. ODB lifts Roxxi up in a big Bearhug as the fans are getting behind Roxxi. She throws several forearms at ODB but ODB then rams Roxxi into the corner and charges in with a Front Kick attempt, but Roxxi gets out of the way and then slams ODB’s head into the top turnbuckle repeatedly. Roxxi follows up with forearms smashes followed by the Roaring Elbow! Roxxi then hits a dropkick and then hits the Voodoo Slam! 1?2?NO ODB kicks out! Roxxi sets up for the Voodoo Drop but ODB hits a nasty Knee Strike to the face and then rolls her up! 1?2?NO Roxxi kicks out! ODB kicks Roxxi and goes for the TKO but Roxxi blocks it and then hits a Double-leg Takedown and then flips over into a jackknife pin! 1?2?NO ODB kicks out again! Roxxi grabs ODB but she grabs Roxxi by the back of the head and hits a Jawbreaker. ODB picks up her flask and goes to hit Roxxi with it but the referee grabs her arm which allows Roxxi to run over and roll her up into a bridge! 1?2?3 and Roxxi gets the pin!

Winner: Roxxi via pinfall (rollup)

After the match ODB hits Roxxi in the back with the flask and then chokes her with a scarf or something. Tara finally runs out and makes the save as ODB bails out of the ring.

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

Back from commercials we see the first clip of Foley going to L.A. to meet Hogan. Foley and JB arrive at a gym or something and Lou Ferrigno walks in and gives Foley a tip on how to lift weights right! It’s The Hulk! I got a feeling where this is going. Foley asks if Lou is going to be there with Hulk but Lou says he is The Hulk. Foley says he is there to see the ?real? Hulk but Lou says he is the real Hulk. Foley asks Lou if Nash asked him to be here to meet him and Lou says he asked to meet with the ?real? Hulk. Foley is getting pissed off and Lou asks him not to get angry because ?I wouldn?t like you when you?re angry.? Foley is pissed and walks out and then says Nash will be sorry he wasted his time. Footage from Foley beating the hell out of Nash earlier is then shown.

JB is front of Nash’s lockerroom about to talk about what went down between Foley and Nash earlier but Nash snatches the door open and grabs the microphone from JB. He shoves JB and screams at him to not move. Nash says that Foley made the biggest mistake of his life today by putting his hands on him he signed to his death warrant. He says ?you gave us a reason? and that’s all ?they? needed. Nash says that whatever authority Foley still has he better use it quickly. Nash says that on January 4th Hulk Hogan will be here and Foley will be unemployed. Nash throws the mic back at JB and walks off.

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

JB is in Foley’s office with him and says that Nash played him for a fool last week but he is pretty smart himself. He says that he and Jeff have had their problems in the past but he needs all the allies he can get. Abyss walks in limping and he screams at Foley saying that he must of forget that he was Foley’s ally and that he must have forgot about their match against Stevie & Raven this Sunday. Abyss says while Foley was ?jackasses? around all over the country he was back there getting set on fire and shows him I guess a bandaged place or something where he was burnt. Foley says he has not forgotten about any of it and he says if he’s guilty of anything it’s that he’s guilty for not being able to be at 2 places at once. He says he will be watching Abyss? back at Final Resolution and he asks Abyss if he?ll have his. Abyss gets in his face and says he?ll have his back. Foley suggests that Abyss may be a bigger sociopath competing in a 10-Man Tag a week after being burned.

In the back Lauren is with Morgan, Hernandez, The Pope, & Suicide. Morgan says they have a huge disadvantage this Sunday when Hernandez has to compete in the Elimination Match for the first 5 minutes alone but if there is any other man he would put money on to get out of that spot alive it’s Hernandez. Morgan says the match against Brother Ray tonight will be a Lumberjack Match and we?ll see what time it is. Pope says he can see into the future and the future of TNA is standing before you in those 4 men.

Lumberjack Match
Brother Ray vs. ?The Blueprint? Matt Morgan

The Lumberjacks for this match are Brother Devon, Jesse Neal, Rhino, Hernandez, Pope, & Suicide. Suicide came out later than the rest of his teammates for some reason. Morgan and Ray lockup in the center of the ring and Ray gets a waistlock on Morgan and then blasts him on the back of the head with an elbow. Ray with a big series of right hands and then he comes off the ropes only to eat a shoulder block from Morgan. Morgan headbutts Ray on the back of the head and then hits the Body Guillotine in the ropes on Ray. Morgan with a knee to the gut and then he slams Ray into the corner and throws those nasty elbows in the corner. Morgan then follows up with a Sidewalk Slam for a nearfall. Morgan goes for the Carbon Footprint but Ray moves and hits a Back Suplex. Bubba throws Morgan to the floor and the heels beat on him until the faces come over and chase them off. Bubba then goes to the other end of the ring and climbs out so the babyfaces will run after him allowing the heels to beat on Morgan somemore. The faces chase the heels off again and Morgan rolls back in the ring. Bubba hits a Hangman’s Neckbreaker for a nearfall. Bubba slaps Morgan on the back of the head and talks trash to him. Bubba lights Morgan up with a chop on the chest and it looks like it woke Morgan up and when he goes for a second one Morgan blocks it and hits a series of right hands followed by a Discuss Clothesline. Morgan hits a Corner Splash followed by a Scoop Slam. 1?2?NO Bubba kicks out. Bubba rolls out of the ring to catch a breather but the faces jump him! They roll his big self back into the ring where Morgan goes for a Chokslam. Bubba chops his arm and then hits a series of jabs but then eats the Chokeslam from Morgan when he started to taunt him. Devon distracts the referee and the other heels pull him out and start beating on Morgan. The faces run over and the brawl begins! Back in the ring Morgan grabs Bubba and goes for the Hellevator but Neal comes in and low blows Morgan as Devon distracted the referee again. Bubba spikes Morgan with a DDT! 1?2?3 and Bubba gets the pin.

Winner: Bubba via pinfall (DDT)

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

A pretty cool video of the history of TNA is shown.

We see a car drive up in the parking lot and it’s Jeff Jarrett greeted by Foley. They walk into the Impact Zone together.

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

Back from commercials Lauren is with Beer Money. She asks them about the Feast or Fired Match. Roode says this Sunday is a must win for them and Storm says they are putting what they worked so hard for the past 2 years on the line. Storm says no one will get in their way and starts to say his ‘sorry about yo damn luck? but Joe walks in and cuts him off. Joe says he’s been listening to them and tells them they need to open their eyes. He says he’s putting his entire career on the line to get his shot because no one in TNA wants to give him his shot. Joe says unlike Beer Money he deserves his shot. They start arguing with Joe until Young along with Bashir and Homicide walk up. Young says he knows Beer Money are upset and want their shot but there are some new entrants into the match and that is Homicide, Kiyoshi, Bashir, Rob Terry, & Young himself! Also, Nash will be in it! He says they?re in it to make sure Beer Money never get a shot at the Brits again.

Triple Threat Tag Match
The Beautiful People w/Lacey Von Erich vs. Awesome Kong & Hamada vs. Sarita & Taylor Wilde

Now this is an interesting damn tag team. If TNA loved us they would give us a Kong & Hamada vs. Taylor & Sarita match at the PPV. I?m 100% that this is a 3-Way Tag match and BP were introduced as Madison Rayne & Velvet Sky accompanied by Lacey yet she is standing on the apron like she’s in the match. Taylor and Kong start the match off and Taylor jumpstarts it with a series of dropkicks that rocks Kong. Taylor mounts Kong in the corner and throws a series of rights at her until Kong shoves her off hard. Kong then tags in Hamada and Taylor tags in Sarita. Business is about to pick up. Sarita goes for a back elbow but Hamada rolls underneath it and then hits a Monkey Flip but Sartia lands on her feet. Sarita then does an insane Spinning Headscissors where she actually spun all the way around Hamada’s body twice! Sarita attempts to whip Hamada into the ropes but she blocks it and hits a nasty Enziguri! Velvet then blind tags Sarita and climbs into the ring. The uncoordinated one aka Lacey is still standing on the apron like she’s in this match. Velvet goes for a clothesline but Hamada ducks it and Velvet follows up with 3 extremely weak leg kicks and then a DDT. Velvet taunts Taylor and then gets a nearfall on Hamada. Madison tags herself in and the BP double kick Hamada in the legs and follow up with a Double Dropkick to the back of Hamada and then knock Sarita & Taylor off the apron. Madison grabs Hamada by the hair but Hamada lifts her leg up with a kick to the top of Madison’s head out of nowhere. Taylor & Sarita then drag Velvet out to the floor. Kong tags back in and Lacey decides she?ll finally get off the apron. Kong hit’s a Corner Splash on Madison and then we see Hamada hit an insane Moonsault off the top onto Taylor & Sarita on the floor! in the ring Kong goes for the Awesome Bomb but Madison counters into a Sunset Flip attempt only to have Kong commit murder by sitting down on her! You?re damn right, she’s done.

Winners: Hamada & Kong via pinfall (Implant Buster 2.0)

Lauren comes out to interview BP (for some reason) but Lacey tells her to go find a backseat to crawl in. Lauren slaps her and then walks off with BP looking stunned! Did someone not tell Lacey that when she’s accompanying a team to the ring she stands at ringside, not the apron! Angelina, if you?re reading, please come back!

In the back Jarrett is questioning why he let Foley talk him back into coming back there. Foley says Jarrett needs to be there and Jarrett says he needs to be there to walk into Dixie’s office and to give her a piece of her mind. Foley says there is a lot of people in TNA that thinks that Jarrett was wrong and deserved to be sent home and he was one of them. Jarrett says no one knows the real story. Foley says the past is the past and they can?t change it but he can walk into Dixie’s office and be proud for a little while but long term that won?t do anyone any good. Foley says everyone in TNA respects Jeff despite whether they are angry at him or not. He asks Jeff to calm down and talk to Dixie face-to-face not scream at her. Jeff says okay and walks out.

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

In the back Christy Hemme is in the back with Jay Lethal and tonight will be another Jay Lethal Open Invitational and she asks him what the broom he is holding is for. He says it’s for sweeping up the competition tonight and then he says the Anvil pulled a fast one on him and he’s fired up tonight. He says it doesn?t matter who it is tonight because the world is going to feel his ?madness.?

Jay Lethal Legend’s Open Invitational
?Black Machismo? Jay Lethal vs. Tatanka

Holy cow, it’s Tatanka! He actually doesn?t look too out of shape either. Lethal storms the ring and decides to back off as Tatanka turned around. They lockup and Lethal hits a knee to the gut and then a series of jabs. Lethal attempts to whip Tatanka into the ropes but he reverses it and goes for a clothesline, but Lethal ducks only to eat a clothesline as he came off the ropes again. Tatanka follows up with an Elbow Drop and then a Leg Drop. Tatanka then hits yet another Leg Drop. Tatanka throws Lethal into the corner and lights him up with a series of chips. Tatanka then whips Lethal hard into the opposite corner and then a Vertical Suplex for a nearfall. Lethal comes back with a rake of the eyes and then he shoves Tatanka into the top turnbuckle. Lethal climbs to the top and hits the Flying Axe Handle Drop for a nearfall. Lethal pulls his belt off and tries to hit Tatanka with it but the referee takes it away. Lethal then decides to slam Tatanks headfirst into the top turnbuckle instead. Tatanka shakes it off and starts doing the war dance as Lethal hits him in the back to no affect. Tatanka hits a right hand on Lethal but Tatanka lights him with chops and then a back body drop! Tatanka hits the Tomahawk Chops on Lethal again and then one to his head and climbs to the top! Tatanka hits a Flying Tomahawk Chop! 1?2?NO Lethal kicks out! Tatanka lifts Lethal up onto his shoulders but Lethal blocks it and counters into a Neckbreaker! Lethal climbs up top and goes for the Flying Axe Handle again but Tatanka punches him in the gut as he comes down. Tatanka then hits the Indian Death Drop! 1?2?3 and Tatanka gets the win.

Winner: Tatanka via pinfall (Indian Death Drop)

In the back Christy is with the Guns and she asks them about their Tag Titles match this Sunday. The Guns says no one seems to notice all the success they?ve had internationally and maybe it’s because they don?t hang around with or suck up to the right people. Or maybe it’s because they don?t promote alcoholism and greed like some other teams (Beer Money). Sabin says maybe some people don?t get their humor but he says they won?t change for anyone. Shelley says he’s proud to say they haven?t been handed anything to TNA and they?ve had to fight for anything. He says Final Resolution is a big day for them and he says they have a ?cute? saying in Britain and it’s ?the sun will never set on the British empire? but at FR the sky will fall down around their heads when the Guns outclass, out wrestle, and out gun them. Pun intended.

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

After the break Mick suggests he does most of the talking when they talk to Dixie but Jeff says after hearing Mick talk and talk he’s decided if he’s going to do it he’s going to do it the right way. Jeff says it should be one-on-one Jeff to Dixie without Foley there and he needs to do it for himself. Foley says he needs to do it for everybody including his daughters.

Jeff walks into Dixie’s office and he says that Mick thought he came to Orlando to talk with her and he agrees. She asks him what they should to talk about and he says about him coming back to TNA. Dixie says before they can talk about his future they have to be clear about the past. He says Jeff put TNA into a bad situation and he lied to her. She says when they got on a plane together and flew to Pittsburgh to make Kurt Angle all kinds of promises him ending up with Kurt’s wife and kids was not one of them. Damn, they came flat out and said it. She says Jeff didn?t give her many options so she chose the best one which was putting Jeff on the sidelines in hopes that time would heal the mess he put them in. Jeff says all he can tell her from the bottom of his heart is ?I?m sorry? if he disrespected her and sorry for everything. She appreciates that but it’s not about her. She says if Jeff feels the time’s right then he has to go face Kurt and take responsibility and see if he can set everything straight. He says he?ll take full responsibility of his actions so she tells him to go see what he can do. He thanks her and we go to commercial.

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

They show a vignette hyping up Angle vs. Wolfe.

?Fallen Angel? Christopher Daniels vs. Desmond Wolfe

Daniels has rap lyrics in his theme music now. This is the first time I?m noticing it and I?m pretty sure he didn?t have it last time he wrestled. Another first time ever matchup here in this match. Daniels shoots in for a lockup but Wolfe quickly locks him in a Full Nelson. He then spins Daniels around and locs him in a Cravate (three-quarter facelock) but Daniels counters and attempts to put him in a hammerlock, but Wolfe counters and goes for the Cravate again. Daniels again blocks it and then spins around and out of it only to have Wolfe lock it again. Daniels tries to counter with an arm drag but Wolfe holds onto the move and rolls right through and keeps it synched in on the mat. Wolfe gets to his still keeping the hold on and Daniels tries to counter with a Scoop Slam but Wolfe hangs onto the Cravate the whole time and Daniels goes right down to the mat with Wolfe. Wolfe keeps the hold locked in and then he hits a Knee Strike followed by a Snapmare Takeover. Wolfe then taunts Daniels and they shoot in for a lockup again. Wolfe locks in the Cravate yet again but this time Daniels is able to put his foot into the back of the knee of Wolfe and get his hand in between the hands of Wolfe to break the hold and counter into a side headlock of his own. Wolfe tries to shove Daniels off but he just drops down to his knee to keep the hold on. Wolfe again tries to shove Daniels off but again Daniels holds onto the side headlock. Wolfe finally gets him off with a side throw, but Daniels gets right back to his feet and locks in the side headlock again. Wolfe goes for a Back Suplex but Daniels lands on his feet and puts the side headlock right back on! Daniels hits a Side Headlock Takeover and keeps the headlock on as he hits the mat. Daniels gets a series of nearfalls as Wolfe’s shoulders were on the mat. Wolfe is able to get on his knees and then actually flip forward out of the move and right into a side headlock of his own in a crazy reversal! Daniels then reverses it right back into his own side headlock! Wolfe gets to his feet and finally shoves Daniels off only to eat a shoulder block from Daniels. Daniels flicks Wolfe off now. They go in for another lockup but Wolfe grabs the arm of Daniels and puts him in a wristlock. Daniels rolls through and locks his own wristlock in. Wolfe tries to roll through himself but Daniels sits down on Wolfe as he attempted the roll through! 1?2?NO Wolfe kicks out! Daniels then goes to grab Wolfe but he eats a forearm to the gut and then a huge European Uppercut! Daniels gets right back to his feet and he hits a Running Forearm Smash! Wolfe gets back to his feet and they get in each others faces. Wolfe slaps the hell out of Daniels and then Daniels answers him back! Now they exchange huge forearms and Wolfe follows up with a nasty Back Elbow to the side of the head! Wolfe comes off the ropes but Daniels nails him with a Back Heel Kick! Daniels then kicks Wolfe in the back and then he hits a big Backbreaker. Daniels follows up with an STO for another nearfall. Daniels then hits the Split Legged Moonsault! 1?2?NO Wolfe kicks out! Daniels puts Wolfe up on the top rope and kills him with the Leaping Open-hand Palm Thrust! Daniels then goes for the Fall From Grace but Wolfe puts his elbow into the face of Daniels repeatedly. Wolfe then drops down and hits the Hammerlock DDT! 1?2?NO Daniels kicks out! Wolfe puts Daniels in the corner and hits a European Uppercut followed by a Running European Uppercut! 1?2?NO Daniels kicks out! Wolfe whips Daniels into the ropes and goes for a backdrop, but Daniels kicks him in the head and follows up with a Jawbreaker and then the Enziguri! Daniels goes for the Angels Wings but Wolfe counters with a double leg takedown. Wolfe then puts him in a crazy submission that I think is a Scissored Armbar! Daniels is able to counter and block it but Wolfe transitions right into a Figure Four Armlock! He then grabs Daniels face and locks in the Crossface at the same damn time! Daniels bites the hand of Wolfe forcing him to let go of the holds and then Daniels grabs the leg of Wolfe, rolls him backwards, and hits a Flatliner and rolls right through into the Koji Clutch! Wolfe rolls over and Daniels shoulders are down, 1?2?NO Daniels kicks out but he has to break the hold to kick out! Daniels hits a Snapmare and then he says he’s going for the Last Rites, but Wolfe reverses it with a Snapmare Takeover. Wolfe goes for a Lariat but Daniels ducks and Wolfe follows up with a back elbow. Wolfe throws Daniels into the corner face-first. He kicks Daniels in the back and then hits a Downward Lariat! Wolfe grabs Daniels and puts him up on the top rope. He goes for the Tower of London but Daniels rakes Wolfe’s eyes and then grabs Wolfe from the top only to have Wolfe rake his eyes! Wolfe charges at Daniels and Daniels ducks under and goes for a rollup but Wolfe spins around and then sets down on the shoulders of Daniels! 1?2..NO Daniels counters into a rollup of his own! 1?2..Wolfe counters into another rollup of his own! 1?2?NO Daniels flips Wolfe right back into a pin! 1?2?NO Wolfe kicks out and then counters into an outside cradle! 1?2?NO Daniels rolls Wolfe over, 1?2?NO Wolfe kicks out now! Both men to their feet and Daniels goes for a Backslide but Wolfe blocks it and counters into a Small Package! 1?2..NO Daniels reverses the small package and then Wolfe reverses it right back and they continue to reverse each other’s Small Packages until the bell rings! It’s a Time-Limit Draw!

Winner: DRAW

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

Back from commercials Mick Foley & Jeff Jarrett start to walk into Angle’s locker room but Foley says Angle isn?t Dixie so he’s coming in with him. Jeff says he handled Dixie himself so he?ll handle Angle himself. Foley says he trusts Jeff but he just doesn?t trust Kurt so they walk in together. Kurt says he heard Jeff was coming and Jeff says if he disrespected him or offended him in anyway he’s sorry. Kurt doesn?t say a word so Jarrett repeats he’s sorry. Angle says he heard him and then finally turns around and says he has a match and walks past him without saying anything else.

Main Event
10-Man Tag Team Match
Scott Steiner, Raven, Stevie Richards, & British Invasion w/Rob Terry vs. AJ Styles, Kurt Angle, Abyss, Bobby Lashley, & Tomko

This is Tomko’s first match in TNA since September of 2008. In this match we have a little bit of an Angle Alliance reunion with AJ, Tomko, & Angle in this match together. Abyss shoves his teammates out of the way and slides into the ring and starts knocking Raven & Stevie’s heads off! He clotheslines Rave over the top to the floor and then shoves Stevie out. Abyss starts to climb out so Raven kicks Abyss in that leg and then starts actually biting the leg! That dude has issues. Abyss knocks Raven off and then he nails Stevie. All the other wrestlers in this match are just watching as Abyss is going crazy on Raven & Stevie. Abyss chases Raven & Stevie to the back! Lashley climbed up on the apron to get in the ring and Steiner knocks him off! Steiner comes out to the floor and throws Lashley into the guard rail and then whips him into the opposite one! Lashley comes back with some nasty elbows to the back of Steiner and he tosses Steiner into a guardrail as well.

—COMMERCIAL BREAK—

Angle and Brutus will start this match off. Brutus kicks Angle in the gut and then attempts to whip Angle into the ropes but Angle blocks it and Brutus goes for a clothesline, but Angle ducks it and hits a German Suplex! Angle grabs Brutus and tags in Tomko. Brutus quickly pokes Tomko in the eyes and then tags in Williams. Williams comes charging in but absolutely gets his head knocked the hell off with a sick Big Boot from Tomko! Tomko follows up with a big Running Powerslam and then Angle tags himself in. Angle hits a series of rights on Williams and then whips Williams into the ropes and goes for a clothesline but Williams ducks and hits a Flying Corkscrew European Uppercut. Brutus tags back in and the Brits hit the Double Straightjacket Slam on Angle for a nearfall. Brutus hits a European Uppercut on Angle and then tags Williams back in. Williams hits a Snapmare and then locks Angle in a rear chinlock. We cut too the back where Lashley throws Steiner into a bunch of guardrails and we see Raven & Stevie killing Abyss with trashcan lids until Abyss grabs the trashcan and nails them with it! Abyss throws Raven into the side of a dumpster and we see Lashley choking Steiner. Steiner fights back and throws Lashley into a wall. Back in the ring Angle whips Williams into the corner and charges but eats a boot. Williams charges at Angle but Angle catches him and hits an Overhead Belly-to-Belly Suplex. Rob Terry pulls Tomko off the apron and slams him into it but Angle tags in AJ anyway! AJ with a clothesline on Williams and Brutus and then a spinning heel kick on Brutus and a big right on Williams. Styles goes for the Styles Clash on Williams but Brutus hits him from behind. Brutus pushes AJ into the corner and then he lifts AJ up as Williams climbs up top. Tomko comes back in and knocks Williams off the top and then AJ rolls Brutus up! 1?2?3!

Winners: AJ, Lashley, Angle, Tomko, & Abyss via pinfall (rollup)

After the match Angle grabs AJ’s belt from the referee and stares AJ down but AJ snatches the belt from Angle. Angle shoves AJ and AJ pie faces Angle. Angle & AJ start shoving each other and then they start brawling until Daniels & Wolfe come in and jump AJ & Angle! Wolfe throws Angle shoulder-first into the ring post and Daniels hits the Angels Wings on AJ! Wolfe hits the Hammerlock DDT on Angle! Wolfe then locks Angle in the London Dungeon as Daniels holds the belt up over a prone AJ Styles and screams ?it’s my turn!? Wolfe & Daniels stand strong and shake hands as we go off the air.

Final Thoughts

Man, was this show 10 times better than last week or what?

I liked the brawl with Nash and Foley early and it gave you interest in what happened at the Hulk meeting to make Foley go crazy. The Incredible Hulk thing was pretty funny and Foley played off how much trouble he went to get there only to have Nash play him in the end and then Nash’s promo afterward was very solid as well. And I like how he can saying ?we? and ?us? because everyone is wondering who is ?we? and ?us? since Nash said Hogan wasn?t coming alone.

Good match between Roxxi and ODB and I was surprised Roxxi got the clean win but it’s good to see her back and the fans wanted to see her. Not sure the champ should be losing clean going into a PPV, though.

The Lumberjack Match was okay and it did its job of pushing the Elimination Match at the PPV.

I loved the segment with Jarrett arriving into the Impact Zone with some of the wrestlers looking on and some of them looking surprising and some looking maybe mad. All the segments with Jarrett were very well done. I know a lot of people aren?t liking this whole work-shoot angle going on but damn it if it isn?t interesting as hell. The thing with Dixie was very good and I was actually surprised they came right out and pretty much said Jarrett was banging Karen. The segment with Jarrett & Angle was very intense and I really loved how Angle didn?t say much kind of leaving you thinking that he is trying to stay focused on his match with Wolfe but eventually this guy is going to explode and when it happens it should make for great TV.

They are actually building up Feast or Fired better than any other year and making these guys seem like they really want it, but I swear if Joe gets ?fired? I?m throwing my TV out the window.

The Knockouts Tag Team could?ve been crazy good if given time and this Kong & Hamada team has so much potential. I liked the thing with Lauren finally snapping after all the stuff she has taken from BP over the past couple of years.

This Black Machismo stuff is just really pointless to me. Having him jobbing to guys that haven?t been in the big time for yeas is just making him look more like a jobber. They just need to go ahead and get rid of the gimmick and start over with him.

Wolfe & Daniels put on one hell of a match. One of the better hold-for-hold technical wrestling matches in awhile and both came out looking very strong with the draw finish.

Decent Main Event with the mixture of wrestling and brawling going on. I liked the teased tension between Kurt & AJ again and the beatdown from Wolfe & Daniels.

One gripe I have is the lack of Amazing Red and the X-Division. He and the belt have been damn near nonexistent the last month and with Hogan coming in soon I don?t see that changing much. Maybe I?m wrong though.
