Original Report:
Charlotte Flair was helped out of the ring after suffering what looks to be a left knee injury that happened at some point during her match with Asuka on Friday night’s Tribute to the Troops episode of WWE SmackDown.
According to a report on Friday night by F4WOnline, social media reports from those who where in attendance at the show seem to have differences as to exactly where in the match Flair’s was injured. After the match, Flair could noticeably be seen favoring her left leg and also had to be helped to out of the ring and then helped to the backstage area.
Towards the end of the match, Flair was seen limping. The match was then ended quickly after outside interference from Bayley, as Asuka rolled up Flair to get the pin.
Steve Fall of WrestlingNews.co posted a video to X with Flair being heard saying “my knee” as referee Charles Robinson and a WWE medical staff person were helping her out of the ring.

Also, per F4WOnline, it is being said the injury to Flair could have happened when she hit Asuka with a big moonsault off of the top turnbuckle to the floor. However, after the move, Flair stood up and did not appear to be injured at that point.
It was thought at first that Flair may have initially injured her head. Our SmackDown recapper Roy Nemer noted on X during his recap of the show, that is was said by the commentary team that during the commercial break, Flair had fallen on the back of her head.
We will provide more updates on the status of Charlotte Flair as it becomes available.
