The latest video from the WWE NXT channel on YouTube features a 18-man battle royal to determine the next challenger for then-NXT Champion Big E, along with Stephanie McMahon announcing the NXT Women’s Championship.
The announcement came after NXT’s predecessor, Florida Championship Wrestling (FCW), closed in August 2012 to make way for the new developmental brand, with the new title replacing the FCW Divas Championship.
The NXT Women’s Championship will be defended on Saturday, February 15 at Vengeance Day as current champion Giulia defends in a Triple Threat Match against two former champions in Roxanne Perez and Bayley.
WWE has uploaded several episodes of NXT’s early episodes to the channel formerly known as the NXT Vault, along with a number of Takeover events and notable matches.
