According to PWInsider, AEW’s Brian Cage and Lance Archer (Murder Machines), filmed scenes for a new movie directed by Steven Spielberg.
The report also notes the scenes were filmed several weeks ago at The Paramount Theater in Long Island, New York and that former WCW and WWE star Chavo Guerrero, who plays a referee in those scenes, oversaw the pro wrestling stunts.
At the time of PWInsider’s report, there is no information on the film’s plot, the name of the film or a potential release date.
Cage and Archer were initially scheduled to challenge the Hurt Syndicate’s Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin at this past Sunday’s AEW Dynasty PPV, but were replaced by The Learning Tree’s Big Bill and Bryan Keith after Cage suffered a knee injury at an indie event.
