Following the recent joint statement from WWE and New Orleans on the change in live event dates in the coming year, Paul “Triple H” Levesque posted a video on social media to reveal the first of the new dates.
The 2026 edition of the Money in the Bank premium live event will take place in New Orleans on Saturday, August 29, quite the change from the usual May-July timeframe of previous years.
Triple H also confirmed a future WrestleMania will come to the city, stating that details on that would be available at a later date.
Details on where WrestleMania 42 remain unknown as of this writing, though reports have noted the possibility of a return to Las Vegas.
The announcement regarding 2026 comes as WWE prepares for this year’s Money in the Bank, taking place Saturday, June 7 from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
