Trick Williams defeated Joe Hendry via pinfall to win the TNA World Championship
New TNA President Carlos Silva was in the front row watching the match. He was shown on camera looking disappointed as Williams celebrated his win.
This past January, WWE and TNA wrestling officially entered into a multi-year partnership, after having a successful working relationship during 2024.
Hendry held the TNA World Championship for only four months. He captured the title from Nic Nemeth at the promotion’s Genesis pay-per-view back on January 19.
