WWE and Seagram’s enter multi-year partnership for beverage marketing deal

WWE and Seagram’s have entered a multi-year partnering to launch three canned drinks, thus making this WWE having its first licensed ready-to-drink alcohol products.

The partnership includes creating Seagram’s Escapes Spiked WWE Series. The Seagram’s website shows the Escapes Spiked beverages as Rumble Punch, Slammin’ Blueberry and Pineapple Powerhouse.

According to the Sports Business Journal, as part of the new deal, Seagram’s will receive sponsorship on WWE’s LED’s which includes ring posts and graphics during one match at Money in the Bank. Seagram’s will see additional sponsorship integrations at SummerSlam and Survivor Series. The partnership also includes launching a new custom digital content series which will feature WWE talent and in-market appearances at Seagram’s-sponsored events.

Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. However, Sports Business Journal said that but no outside agency was involved and that TKO EVP/Global Partnerships Grant Norris-Jones and WWE VP/U.S. Business Development & Global Partnerships Jesse are the two responsible for working out the deal.

Other alcohol beverage companies that have recently inked deals with WWE includes Angry Orchard Hard Cider, Mike’s Harder Beverage Co., Real American Beer and Wheatley Vodka.
