Fans inside the BOK Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma before WWE Raw went live on the air and during show, let their voices be heard on how they felt about R-Truth’s contract with the company not being renewed.
Before Raw went live on the air, a “We Want Truth” chant broke out.
Then another “We Want Truth” chant broke out during the Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifier between Ivy Nile, Liv Morgan and Stephanie Vaquer and then again during Kairi Sane vs. Raquel Rodriguez.
R-Truth announced this past Sunday that WWE was not renewing his contract, thus ending his 17-year tenure wit the company. News of his departure has caused backlash from fans on social medial. Several WWE talent expressed their love and respect for Truth on social media once the news broke.
Truth’s last match with WWE was a loss to JC Mateo on last Friday’s SmackDown. Prior to that match, he lost to Undisputed WWE Champion John Cena on the 5/24 Saturday Night’s Main Event.
