Former WWE talent makes surprise appearance at independent event

Former WWE talent Shotzi, made a surprise appearance at Friday night’s Hoodslam Fearless event in Oakland, California. She wrestled in an “Emotional and Sentimental” match.

Shotzi began her professional wrestling career with Hoodslam back in 2014, under the in-ring name of Missy Highasshit, a cheerleader valet for the Stoner Brothers, which was a comedic parody of Missy Hyatt and the Steiner Brothers.

Shotzi confirmed on social media back on May 3, WWE was not renewing her contract, which at the time was said to be coming up “soon.”

Shotzi has other scheduled appearances coming up later this month and into July.

For this month, she is planned to debut for MLW at the promotion’s Summer of the Beasts event at the Melrose Ballroom in Queens, NY on Thursday, June 26 and on June 29, she is booked to wrestle in a match against Nina Samuels in a “Pick Your Poison” match for the PROGRESS Wrestling: Chapter 181 show in Manchester, United Kingdom.

July, she is scheduled for a three-show Japanese tour with GCW, taking place July 28 to July 30, with those events held at Shinjuku Face (July 28), Tokyo Square (July 29), and Korakuen Hall in Tokyo (July 30). All three events will be available via TrillerTV+.
