Fightful Select has reported that Jamie Hayter has yet to be medically cleared for in-ring action, following her Double Or Nothing match against Mercedes Moné, despite her claims she was fine after the fact.
The former AEW Women’s World Champion last appeared on the 5/28 edition of Dynamite, where a promo addressing the match was interrupted by the official arrival of the “Toxic Spider” Thekla, who attacked Hayter after the lights went out.
The report notes that AEW had to “get creative” with the storyline due to the nature of the injury, with no timetable currently set for Hayter’s return to the ring.
