According to PWInsider, former TNA/IMPACT Champion Rich Swann debuted at Tuesday night’s NWA television taping at WEDU PBS Studios in Tampa, Florida.
The report also notes that Swann will be a regular in the NWA and will be part of the NWA 77 Anniversary PPV at the Paramount in Huntington, New York.
Swann was officially gone from TNA Wrestling, as of April 14 after his contract expired.
In June 2024, TNA Wrestling suspended Swann after the promotion learned that he was arrested for disorderly intoxication in Altamonte Springs, FL. The suspension came after Swann revealed that he voluntarily entering a substance abuse rehabilitation program.
The 2024 arrest came after Swann was said to have been intoxicated and tried to forcefully enter an apartment which was not his residence. In September of 2022, Swann was charged and arrested for causing a disturbance while intoxicated at the apartment complex where he lives.
