Hulk Hogan’s wife, Sky Daily took to Instagram on Friday, sharing an emotional message following the passing of her husband on Thursday.
The 71-year old WWE Hall of Famer’s death was attributed to “cardiac arrest”, according to the Clearwater, Florida Police Department.
The 911 call was made at 9:51 a.m. local time on Thursday, at which point medical was dispatched. The medical dispatch arrived at Hogan’s residence at 9:56 a.m. and began performing life-saving techniques on him. Police were requested at 10:19 a.m., and they arrived at the residence at 10:23 a.m. Hogan would then be transported to Morton Plant Hospital at 10:32 a.m. Hogan was pronounced dead at 11:17 a.m.
Hogan had been suffering from medical issues following a neck surgery and was rumored to be on his deathbed earlier this month, a claim that Daily had previously refuted.

Hulk loved his fans so much and despite his growing physical discomfort, he did everything he could to show up, sign autographs, take photos, and connect with the people who supported him through it all. You meant everything to him.
He was a believer in Christ, and I take comfort knowing his soul is at peace and he’s been welcomed home.
