Detailed TNA IMPACT SPOILERS: Matches and segments taped for 8/7 and 8/14

TNA Wrestling taped the August 7 and August 14 episodes of IMPACT Friday night at the Ryan Center on the campus of the University of Rhode Island in Kingston.

August 7:

Order 4 kicks off the show. Mustafa Ali said TNA has chaos and disorder due to outsiders coming in and seizing the company’s prestigious championships, but now it is time for change. Ali said he will go to war with the Great Hands and Tasha Steelz and mentions the large member of his Secret Service will guarantee no one gets their hands on him. Ali then asks if the fans want to see him as the next TNA World Champion. He then became upset when he was booed, but the people cheered for The System and Joe Hendry. Hendry then comes out saying there are no secrets in TNA. A video is shown with Hendry with a wrestling buddy with John Skylar’s face on it. Another video was shown with “Skylar” buying an Ali shirt and using it to wipe his butt on the toilet. Ali the said this is the reason why no one believes in Hendry anymore and Ali wants him to go away. Ali turned down a challenge for tonight and instead accepted it for next week so everyone can prepare for something to truly believe in. It was noted there must been an unseen backstage segment where the made was made, because it was the main event of the first taping.

NXT star and current TNA World Champion Trick Williams comes out next. He said it’s him vs Moose at Emergence. Williams then made fun of Moose’s big head, his Momma, grandmother and Uncle and threatened to smack all of them. This brought out Moose, who then punched Williams. Moose went for a spear, but Williams took off.

Frankie Kazarian came out next with a document and joined on commentary for this match

    International Champion Steve Maclin vs Jake Something ended in a double count-out.

      Mike Santana cut a promo from the stands. He said that the eyes of the world were on Slammiversary, but he lost. He had his family and culture on his back and even if he was cheated, he still lost. Santana went on to say that he has been at rock bottom, but he’s fought. When he lost his father, he fought. When he decided to bet on himself, he fought, and he fought and he fought. After losing, he had to look at his daughter crying and he knew that he had to put everything aside and go comfort his little girl. He told her everything is gonna be okay and she told him she knows because he’s gonna get Trick next time. He promised that it’s not a question of if, but when he stands in “this f—— ring” and whoops Trick.

      Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee defeated M and Heather By Elegance w/Personal Concierge

        First Class is out next for an episode of the First Class Penthouse.

        KC Navarro said he reaggravated his knee at Slammiversary and will have to get surgery for a torn ACL. AJ Francis told him that like the NFL, it’s next man up, so he brought out the returning Rich Swann. AJ forced KC to hold the mic for Rich and he didn’t seem happy about it. Swann said that he’s back to make the company TNAJ. AJ then future endeavored KC from First Class. AJ called him a replacement and KC told him off. AJ said he’s been carrying 165 pounds of dead weight for 9 months. Before KC they were both champions, but KC lost constantly in First Class. He even cost Trick the match last week and loses all the time because he’s a loser. Swann yanked KC’s crutch out from under him, causing KC to fall on the ramp and eventually KC left, which ended the segment.

          Mara Sade pinned Vicious Vicki

            Ash By Elegance w/Personal Concierge defeated Double Champ Jacy Jayne by DQ in a TNA Title Match. Masha Slamovich attacked Ash to cause the disqualification. There were also run-ins from Xia, Lei Ying Lee, M and Heather By Elegance, Fatal Influence and The IInspiration. 

              Santino Marella came out to announce the matches for Emergence. He announced Steve Maclin vs. Jake Something in a No DQ, No Count-out match, Mike Santana vs. Sami Callihan and The Elegance Brand vs Xia Brookside and Lei Ying Lee vs Fatal Influence vs. The Iinspiration for the Knockouts World Tag Team Titles.

              Santino then called out The Nemeth’s and told them that due to their attack on the Home Town Man last week, he is taking away their Tag Team Title match and giving it to The Rascalz. Santino then said Nic and Ryan were both suspended. Ryan threatened to sue Santino, so Santino booked Ryan vs. Home Town Man at Emergence.

                Mustafa Ali defeated Joe Hendry

                    They put a new graphic on the screens displaying that Emergence was tomorrow, so the rest of the taping is for August 14:

                    August 14:

                    Moose was laid out backstage. The rest of The System was upset, but quickly left Moose and went out to the ring. They called out Trick and First Class to settle this once and for all.

                    Trick Williams and First Class defeated Eddie Edwards, Brian Myers and JDC.

                      Dani Luna and Indi Hartwell defeated Harley Hudson and Myla Grace. After the match, Rosemary, who was hiding in the crowd, misted Indi on her way out.

                        Matt Cardona defeated John Skylar. 

                          Santino came out for a Knockout Tag Team Summit, which is a preview for the the match at Emergence. The segment turned into a brawl with all the teams.

                          Mike Santana pinned Eric Young w/Northern Armory. After the match, the Northern Armoy attacked Santana. Sami Callihan made the save.

                            Frankie Kazarian comes out with his own mic stand and hosts “The King’s Speech.”

                            His were Steve Maclin and Jake Something. Neither talked at first. Maclin eventually told Kazarian to shut up. Maclin then said at Emergence we will find out if Jake is Something. Eventually, Maclin and Something went after Kaz, who bailed out. Jake laid out Maclin with a Black Hole Slam.

                              The Rascalz and Cedric Alexander defeated Leon Slater and the Hardys

                                The taping show ended with a Joe Hendry and Jeff Hardy concert, which is not expected to air as all the all the announcers and ringside staff left.

                                  The show drew around 350.
