After it was reported earlier on Thursday, that TNA President Carlos Silva indicated that there is “positive momentum” in the negotiations, a new media rights could be lined up around Bound For Glory in October.
Speculation on where IMPACT could land has also taken a new turn, with sources revealing there has at least been discussions of TNA moving the show to a WWE-associated network, and even changing its time slot from Thursday to Wednesday nights in an effort to go head-to-head with AEW Dynamite.
Now, according to Fightful Select, former UFC owner Lorenzo Fertitta‘s name has come up from meetings this week as a potential buyer of TNA Wrestling.
The report stresses this has not been confirmed and that this news will end up being more widespread.
