During Sunday’s Clash in Paris, Michael Cole, on behalf of WWE took time to thank Peacock, as WWE main roster premium live events move to ESPN, starting with WWE Wrestlepaoolza on Saturday, September 20, which goes head-to-head with AEW’s All Out pay-per-view.
Clash in Paris marked the final main roster WWE PLE to stream live on Peacock. NXT PLE’s will remain on Peacock. In addition, WWE and Peacock worked out a multi-year agreement to stream Saturday’s Night Main Event specials on the streaming service, with the events no longer airing simultaneously on NBC. WWE’s video library will still be available on Peacock through March 2026, as that point it could end up on another platform.
Earlier this month, WWE and ESPN announced a six-year deal, worth $1.6 billion that will see main roster PLE’s stream exclusively on the new ESPN app in the United States. it was also stated that those with select cable, satellite and TV streaming services who have ESPN as part of their tv package will be able to access WWE’s PLE’s via the app at no extra cost.
Those without the select services will have to fork out $29.99 a month or what comes out to $299 per year. However, for just one-year at the regular price of $29.99 per month, you can also get a bundle that includes ESPN Unlimited, Hulu (with ads), and Disney+ (with ads).
If you have one of the following providers, you will be able to access WWE PLE’s via ESPN at no extra cost.
-Charter (Spectrum)
-DirecTV
-FuboTV
-Hulu Live TV
-Verizon Fios
As of now, if you are customers of Comcast, YouTube TV, DISH Network, Sling, Altice, Cogeco, Frontier, and Cable One, you will need to a separate subscription for ESPN’s streaming service to access WWE’s PLE’s.
