According to a report from Fightful Select, WWE has sources recently informed the publication that Piper Niven has been out of action due to an undisclosed injury.
The report also notes WWE doesn’t know how bad the injury is.
On Saturday, Chelsea Green took to X, noting that Slaygent P is “currently out on a top-secret special assignment and in her absence, the Secret Hervice will be accepting intel dossiers (a.k.a. resumes, for you dummies) and video submissions for a potential fill-in candidate.”
Niven last wrestled back on the August 22 episode of WWE SmackDown, when she had a win over Charlotte Flair. During the September 19 episode of SmackDown, Chelsea Green teamed up with Alba Fyre, in place of Piper, to challenge for the Women’s Tag Team Titles. Flair and Bliss would go on to retain the championships.
Piper and Fyre were originally scheduled to challenge Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss for the Women’s Tag Team Championships at Clash in Paris, but the match was changed with Bliss facing Green instead, with Bliss getting the victory.
