MLW takes a shot at WWE for taking WM 43 to Saudi Arabia

MLW took a shot at WWE during the Fury Road event on Saturday night.

Cesar Duran, the on-screen General Manager of MLW, at the start of the show addressed the crowd at the NYTREX Sports Centre in North Richland Hills Texas. While not actually saying WWE by name Duran said the following:

“You love Major League Wrestling, and Major League Wrestling loves you. We have a legacy in the making tonight. And while some other company packed up their big show and shipped it to Saudi Arabia to take that blood money, we come here with the real deal right here in Texas!”

WWE is taking WrestleMania 43 to Saudi Arabia in 2027. The company is also brining the Royal Rumble to Saudi Arabia next year. WWE has received much criticism from fans over the relationship they have with the country.
