Backstage news on the “shocking angle” done at the end of WWE Raw

Fightful Select has published backstage news on what is being called the “shocking angle” at the end of Monday’s episode of WWE Raw, which saw Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed turn on Seth Rollins.

Internally, the belief is Rollins was legitimately injured while performing the coast-to-coast headbutt spot on Cody Rhodes at Crown Jewel, reportedly bracing the fall with his arm.

While there is much speculation at this time, it is also said the nature of the injury is being kept closely guarded within WWE.

There is also said to be optimism pertaining to Rollins coming out of Raw because he was medically cleared, so the injury may not be as significant as initially thought. It was added Rollins is expected to undergo further testing this week.

Fightful Select concluded by indicating WWE sources noted this angle was seen as a major pivot in creative plans, with one source saying Breakker splitting off from the faction was not expected until 2026, but was forced to and done way earlier than intended.
