Released NXT talent says he may require neck surgery

Recently released NXT talent Ridge Holland posted to X, he is heading to Birmingham, Alabama to get ex-rays on his foot to ensure everything is healing well with his foot.

He also mentioned that while he is in Birmingham, he will be undergoing imaging to see if he needs neck surgery.

“Next Tuesday I’ve got to go to Birmingham, Alabama to have the cast cut off, some more x-rays to make sure the foot’s all good and we can go possibly to partial weight bearing,” he said. “The kicker is that prior to the foot, I had a neck injury that I was going to get imaging for. I got imaging for the post-foot surgery and I’m going to Birmingham also to see the neck specialist.”

Holland recently revealed on social media that WWE is continuing to cover the costs of his rehabilitation after his deal ends on November 14. WWE informed him back on October 13, they were not renewing his contract. He underwent surgery on October 3 for a Lisfranc foot injury that he suffered during a match against Moose on September 27 at a TNA taping.
