During an Instagram live session on Monday morning, WWE ring announcer Lilian Garcia revealed that she is now engaged. Garcia did not provide much information about her new soon to be husband, other than he is someone who understands the business because at one time he was a professional wrestler. Garcia also said there is no timeline as to when the wedding will take place.
She was previously married to Christopher Jozeph and filed for divorce from him back on April 11, 2022.
Garcia also said that should there not be any surprises, she believes that she will be the ring announcer for John Cena’s retirement match at the December 13 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event, which takes place at the Capital One Arena in Washington, DC. Garcia further added that she remembers announcing Cena as “The Prototype” at a house show before Cena began having his matches on WWE programming.
WWE is holding “The Last Time Is Now Tournament” on next Monday’s Raw at TD Garden in Boston with talent from Raw, SmackDown, NXT and ‘maybe even guys who don’t work here’, with the winner going on to be Cena’s final opponent. It has been heavily speculated that his final opponent will be Gunther.
